Careful you donโ€™t get too dependent on ai designing for you. These companies arenโ€™t making any money. They can decide to double, triple, quadruple their pricing anytime they want to

There used to be some cases where it might make sense to do some work for free. Iโ€™ve done it. But nowadays with ai is so much easier for people to take advantage of the free work. I canโ€™t say itโ€™s worth the risk anymore.

I think โ€œtech merchโ€ could look good if they werenโ€™t for diabolical companies most people resent for making their lives worse
Online Ceramics has been building this visual style since 2016. - more "tech merch" could look good if companies gave collaborators room to interpret the brand. - we're getting almost a decade of someone else's creative identity with this collab, PLUS the level of care that goes into the pieces - their own cotton blanks are cut and sewn in LA, and the tie-dyes are done by hand in their studio.

People keep blabbing about taste. What we should be blabbing about is effort. Putting in effort is becoming more and more rare these days. Taste implies youโ€™ll just nail it on the first try, which I donโ€™t really agree with

I know this wonโ€™t actually work but I think this sums up why people despise ai. Everyone looking for the best way to get paid scamming people with as little effort as possible.
just found an infinite money glitch with Muse thank u @alexandr_wang for changing my life

Todayโ€™s world starts to make sense when you realize many people are passionately anti-intellectual. โ€œI get upset when I see someone reading.โ€ Thatโ€™s anti-intellectual. โ€œI have zero interest in old movies or books.โ€ Thatโ€™s anti-intellectual. โ€œChatbots will make college obsolete.โ€ You hate the intellect, my friend.

Even though we're quickly moving towards a post-literate society, you can tell that books remain sacred objects that carry enormous power and authority in our culture based on how uncomfortable they make people who don't engage with them regularly

You canโ€™t be like: โ€œI was cognitively incapable of ever learning to program, but now I can create software at a push of a button without having to know or learn anythingโ€ and then turn around and demand people are impressed by the code an AI generated for you.

and this applies to all else regarding genai. While it's been touted as the removal of all barriers, its evangelists had no understdanding that barriers (existing through the need for understanding, dedication and craftsmanship} were there for a reason. Friction as important as speed, silence as important as the tune and the do's as important as the dont's.
Turns out the friction of having to learn photoshop was a crucial firewall protecting society from the terrible taste of small business owners
