POPE LEO XIV DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL
Pope Leo XIV left Rome’s Agostino Gemelli Hospital this afternoon, 17 October, following surgery on Tuesday, 13 October.
Blood tests and a chest X-ray confirmed his favourable recovery, allowing doctors to clear him to return to the Vatican.
The Holy See Press Office announced that he would lead the Angelus prayer from the window of the Apostolic Palace on Sunday, 18 October.
We thank God for the Holy Father’s recovery and continue to pray for his health and strength.
