Education is a beacon of hope and a pathway to a brighter future. On this #InternationalDayOfEducation, we celebrate the determination of individuals like Asia, an Afghan woman who persevered to pursue her dreams despite significant challenges.
Asia enrolled in a course at Harvard, but without access to a computer, her journey had challenges. “It was a magical moment for me to receive a call that I would be getting a computer,” Asia shared. Through the Shafia Fund, Asia has the tools she needs to continue her education.
This story is a reminder of the transformative power of education & importance of removing barriers for learners everywhere. Let’s stand together for equitable access to education & support initiatives that make dreams like Asia’s a reality.
