A reminder today of why music has an important place in every child’s education at John Hunter Hospital School. Music is more than just learning notes or an instrument. It’s about giving kids a purpose. A reason to believe they matter and the opportunity to connect
Great to have experienced my first time at California all state music education conference in Sacramento last week. Nice to meet so many passionate music educators and arts leaders.

The calm before the store… Soundcheck for tonight’s Amplify event at Mary’s Underground, Sydney. If you’re an Amplify school and don’t have your ticket, come early and see our crew at the door.
Incredible day working with the talented & inspiring performing arts teachers from across @westminstersd in Orange County, as they get ready to roll amplify (amped arts in the US) out across all of their school sites. So great to see the wonderful @GunnMarieHansen too!
An insightful few days at @edtechweek 2025 in New York this week. It was a powerful reminder, that in the world of AI, more than ever, what students need to thrive in the classroom is human connection.
Great to visit the @sonymusic US team in the New York office today, to update them on the work we are doing through creative arts education in public schools to inspire the next generation of music, dance and theatre stars. #performingarts #musiceducation
