A major step forward for equity in California public education.
With the @CAgovernor signing CCSA-sponsored AB 2316, eligible charter public schools facing significant facilities costs will have access to financial hardship relief comparable to that available to school districts.
More equitable funding means more resources can stay focused where they belong: students, educators and classrooms. TY @joshua_hoover for championing it!

Advocacy doesn't happen in just one season. It happens year round.
We're grateful to Assemblymember Mark Gonzalez for taking the time to visit @greendot_ca, tour the campus, and participate in mock job interviews with students. Seeing charter public schools in action helps policymakers better understand the impact these schools have on students, families, and communities.
Thank you for supporting California's charter public schools. #CharterSchools #CAEd
The decision to uphold Locke High's charter (@greendot_ca) is about more than one school.
It's a win for students and families in Los Angeles—and for the broader charter movement across California. It reflects the power of community voice and the importance of preserving public school options for families.
When the charter community stands together, students win.
