WTF is “food noise”
I’ve never experienced it in my entire life.
Do you just like day dream about snacks and stuff?

Here is the summary from the randomised clinical trial on #FolicAcid and #ProstateCancer which found that regular users of folic acid had a THREE times higher rate of prostate cancer than non users.

Choline deficiency causes fatty liver.
This is because the liver cannot make enough phosphatidylcholine—which is made from choline—to export the fat in VLDL.
Dietary sources:
→ Beef liver (3 oz): 356 mg
→ Large egg: 147 mg
→ Beef top round, lean (3 oz): 117 mg
→ Chicken breast(3 oz) : 72 mg
→ Cod: (3 oz): 71 mg xitter.cf/lowmegatron/status/211…
You don’t need to go low-carb to fix insulin resistance. My new Substack article, with almost 300 citations, lays out the causes and the solutions.

Jonathan Milan set today in Shanghai a NEW WORLD RECORD at the individual pursuit on track: 3:58.850. He improved his old mark of 3:59.153 and became also world champion, of course. 👏⏱️ A performance that deserves more exposure and praise, imo.

I can now support their nutritional needs with much more clarity
Doubled my LPa in 14 days
Halved my LPa in 13 days.
Aiming to half it again in the next 13.
As I know what moves it.
But don't worry LPa only needs to be measured once as it doesn't move.
In theory, this fancy olive bread from Tesco doesn't contain folic acid (unlike the fancy sourdough bread next to it on the shelf).
The ingredients list doesn't contain it, so it's not in there. Right?
Possibly not. This bread is made in the UK from non-wholemeal wheat flour which, by law from December 2026, has to have folic acid added.
But folic acid has already been added to flour since autumn 2025.
Manufacturers and retailers were given a period of grace to sell their old folic acid free stock and move to new labelling. But have they been rigourous with their labelling? Have they ensured they switched labelling at exactly the same time as the ingredients changed? Or are there a lot of mislabelled products out there?
I'm sure this must be worth a legal challenge, either against the retailers for breaking food labelling laws, or against the government for enabling law-breaking on the retailers' part.
Any legal experts out there who could advise?
That's before we get onto the legal arguments about adding a medicine - that's known to be harmful to many people - to a staple food that's hard to avoid. That has to be even more worthy of a legal challenge!

What the fuck is “food noise” and why has it been memed into collective mainstream society nowadays?
It doesn’t exist. You eat when you’re hungry and don’t when you’re not. Why is that such a difficult concept? Get the fuck outta here with all that “food noise” bullshit.

I went to a little coastal town in Mexico for a two week surf trip and ended up staying there for over a year.
It had everything I wanted that would otherwise take monumental effort to acquire elsewhere. The food came from local farms because local farms were cheapest. The milk was raw. The seafood was caught that morning from the beach.
There was no 5g. There wasn't even 4g. One 3g tower for the whole town. No shirt or shoes were required. Indoor outdoor living was the only option.
There was no traffic. No hearing the freeway at night. No noise pollution. No urban sprawl and subdivisions.
Best of all, there were no rules. The town governed itself. Everybody knew each other so there was little crime. I drove an unregistered dirtbike as my only transport and never got pulled over.
I paid for everything in cash. Including rent. No hidden fees, no contracts, no schemes.
I didn't have Amazon or access to a supermarket and honestly I enjoyed the lack of convenience. You don't actually need 90% of what you think you need and they only promote consumerism.
Activities revolved around the beach and around the community. Being on devices is nauseating in a place like this.
Is it ideal for productivity? Probably not. But I'd rather have 10% the productivity in a clear state of mind than the other 90% in the neurotic, anxiety-ridden haze of remote work and apartment living.
Most comforts are not designed for your benefit but rather to keep you trapped. Its a control mechanism. The more conveniences you can give up, the freer you become.
