The Going Car Free Challenge is now open! 🚶♀️🚍🧑🦽🚄 🚲
Earlier this year, we teamed up with @LowCON to invite 12 drivers in Oxford to go three weeks without using their car and they loved it!
So we’re opening up the challenge to YOU!

ALT a blonde white woman wearing a black helmet, flowery blouse and blue jeans sat on the saddle of an orange electric cargo cycle with bags on the front and a child wearing a yellow dress, glasses and patterned helmet sat on the back. Both are located in the road in front of houses with plants in the background.

Great to have @EllisPalmer94 along with us at @AvantiCycling helping to make the training videos for @BikeabilityUK. Everyone, including @ThamesideSch children, was inspired by your riding.
Fun day today, making cool new cycle training videos with @BikeabilityUK in Reading!
It’s always a great opportunity to normalise disabled people and disabled cyclists by doing this sort of thing with @BobTheHandcycle!

This would be amazing, imagine monitoring #airpollution on this day compared to others and all the wee kids able to travel by bike, scooter and foot to school.
Brussels carfree day does not mess about. The whole city closed to most cars. UK cities take note! Closing 5 roads and calling it a carfree day won't cut it any more #5GoMadOnEurostar

Glasgow’s Liveable Neighbourhoods are set to reduce the city’s car dependency by transforming streets into safer, more attractive spaces where everyday needs can be met locally and where people travelling actively and by public transport are prioritised.

I read an article that said going car free was impossible for mums. This 3 year old bday party where all Mum’s cycled or walked with their toddlers on a variety of bikes shows that’s ridiculous.
Having a toddler doesn’t stop you being car free, your attitude does.

Brilliant to see another #kidicalmass pop up. And great effort by the team to keep everyone cool and safe.
We had a blast, despite the heat. Today was #Wokingham ‘s first #kidicalmass. Can’t wait for our next one.

This #kidicalmass was to show some of the great cycle routes you can find in #rdguk. This route from Green Park along the Kennet was charming and almost traffic free.
Getting there proved a problem for some people but it is a great way to get to Mad House if you can.
