On a public chain, your wallet is an open page. Anyone can see your balance, what you bought, when you sold, who you paid. And since transactions are visible before they settle, validators can see them too. That's where front-running and sandwich attacks come from. I've been following @FlutonIO because they're taking a different approach. You submit an encrypted intent: you say what you want done, and it stays encrypted from creation to settlement. Relayers execute it without reading it, so there's nothing to extract from you. It works across chains (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Solana and more), so you don't have to move to a new network to get privacy. Swaps, bridging, payments, yield, all private. Worth a look if you care about this stuff: fluton.io

Startale’s own post on ASTR purchases says it is not a buyback, then never says how big the portion is. @StartaleGroup commits “a portion” of its Soneium sequencer revenue, and that revenue is only the surplus left after paying Ethereum for data posting and settlement, split among the operators. The operator is Sony Block Solutions Labs, and Ledger Insights reported in 2024 that Sony owns 90 percent of it. The split of the surplus is not published, so I won’t claim Startale’s slice is a tenth. But the same post calls the venture a joint venture in one paragraph and says Soneium is “owned by Startale” in another. Those two sentences cannot both describe the same cap table. Scale matters here. A DefiLlama snapshot in September showed about 230 dollars in fees across the whole chain over 24 hours. If that is anywhere near typical, the pool feeding ASTR is small before Startale’s share and before the portion it actually sends to the token. I might be wrong, sequencer margins can look different from the fee line, but the post gives nothing to check it against. I like that token support is tied to real usage instead of a treasury giveaway. That is a better design than most. A feedback loop with no stated size is a direction, not a number. ASTR holders have been shown the arrow.

Wallet teams have a quiet problem with stablecoins. Every USDT transfer a user sends costs the wallet infrastructure, support and compliance attention, and pays it nothing. Swaps are where wallets earn. Sends are where they just absorb the bill. @utexocom flips that line item. Viktor Ihnatiuk talks about new revenue models for wallets through transaction fee monetization, and Utexo’s API lets partners set their own fees on user volume while settlement costs stay fixed and quoted in USDT. Right now end users pay 0% during the launch incentive phase, so no wallet is charging yet, but the switch exists. The wallet picks the markup, Utexo keeps the cost side predictable. I think this is the sharpest part of the go to market. Integrations don’t spread because a protocol is elegant, they spread because a product manager can put a number in a spreadsheet. A wallet that earns on every dollar sent has a reason to ship USDT on Bitcoin this quarter instead of next year. Still watching which team runs the math first. Protocols get adopted when someone gets paid to adopt them.

mump2p is officially live on Ethereum mainnet. Big milestone for @get_optimum. 16 node operators. Around 1.4M ETH. And blocks arriving 2.42x faster according to Optimum's early measurements. The interesting part? Ether.fi has already made mump2p mandatory for all its node operators. And connecting is free. All you need is an API key. We've heard plenty about making Ethereum faster. Now we're starting to see what that looks like in production. Curious to see how these numbers hold up as more operators join.

Startale’s own comparison of its Earn vaults says the USDSC vault passes holders the interest from the short term US Treasury bills backing the coin, with instant withdrawals and no Startale fee. Meanwhile JPYSC, the other stablecoin @StartaleGroup runs with SBI, moved 1 billion yen of reserves into Japanese government bonds on September 7, and its holders get a flat 1 to 1 redemption. Two coins from one company, with opposite answers to who owns the reserve yield. The reason is probably competitive, not philosophical. USDSC fights Tether and Circle, which keep the Treasury income for themselves, so sharing it is the only real pitch a newcomer has. JPYSC distributes through SBI VC Trade and a trust bank, with a customer base it does not have to win from scratch. I think sharing the yield on USDSC is the right call, because it turns a payment token into something people hold on purpose. What I would ask is where the JGB income on JPYSC goes. I have not seen a published split, and I might be wrong that holders see none of it. The 5 percent corporate bond Startale is selling this month to promote JPYSC reads differently once you notice the stablecoin itself offers no yield to its holders. The stablecoin that pays its holders is the one that has to earn them. JPYSC has not had to yet.

Tucked into Tether’s original announcement for USDT on Bitcoin is a detail most coverage skipped: sending and receiving value offline. Not a faster network or a cheaper fee. Offline. It sounds odd until you look at how RGB works. A transfer isn’t a broadcast the whole network has to hear about. It’s a package of proof, a consignment, that the sender hands to the receiver through whatever channel exists, a QR code, a file, a message, and the receiver validates it on their own device. Bitcoin anchors the result afterwards. Every account based chain assumes the opposite: a live node on both ends or nothing happens. I think this is where @utexocom’s rollout gets interesting. Dollar payments in places with patchy connectivity, a market stall in a basement, a remittance between two phones on a bad signal. Most people are still comparing fees. Few are asking what a stablecoin looks like when it doesn’t need the internet in the same second. Still watching which wallet ships it first. Every other rail asks whether you’re online. This one asks whether you have the proof.

Startale App’s new Flowmark fGenesis vault lends your USDC to borrowers who post PGNGI+ as collateral, a token from Asseto tied to Partners Group’s Next Generation Infrastructure strategy. @StartaleGroup now lets a retail user in a smart wallet lend dollars against a private markets infrastructure fund, a position most people could never reach directly. I like how plainly the page names the collateral. It even includes a section comparing the three Earn vaults: USDSC earns T bill interest on Soneium with instant withdrawals, while the two USDC vaults earn from lending on Ethereum, where exits depend on how much is lent out at that moment. That is more disclosure than most yield apps give. Count the names between you and the yield, though: Startale, Morpho, Flowmark, Asseto, and the Partners Group strategy underneath. The page says there is no lockup and withdrawals are usually instant, then says the limit “mainly affects very large withdrawals.” In a bad week everyone is a large withdrawal. It also does not say how PGNGI+ gets sold if a borrower is liquidated, or how deep its market is. I might be wrong, the token may have a good exit, but the page does not show it. Your USDC is withdrawable instantly. Its collateral is a stake in a private infrastructure fund, and those rarely sell on the same timetable.

Anyone who has held USDT on Tron knows the moment. The dollars are sitting right there in the wallet, and the transfer still fails because there’s no TRX left to pay for it. A stablecoin user ends up managing a second, volatile asset just to move the first one. @utexocom prices settlement in USDT itself. Fees are fixed ahead of time and denominated in the same asset being sent, so a payment operator can model the cost per transfer before the first transaction goes out. PSPs, wallets and treasury teams all budget in dollars, and for once the rail speaks the same unit. Add RGB’s UTXO model on top, where no public account history builds up around the balance, and the experience starts to look like what a dollar payment should have been from the start. I think this is the quiet strength of the design. Speed and privacy get the headlines, but removing the gas token step is what a first time user actually feels. It’s still early, and I’m watching which wallet hides the most complexity at launch. A dollar that needs another coin to move was never really a dollar payment.

Hey millet!

Latch makes agent permissions something you can read. Cedar policies are plain, declarative rules, so the question “what can this agent do with my funds” has a clear written answer before a single transaction happens. That matters most when someone else needs to check the setup. A treasury user can read the spending limit and the whitelist. A builder can show a partner exactly which operations an agent is allowed to perform. A reviewer can look at the policy file and confirm the scope without reverse engineering code or trusting a dashboard summary. Permissions become something people can audit, not something they have to take on faith. Machine bound identity fits that picture cleanly. The authority sits in the policy attached to the machine, not in a credential that can be copied around. Anyone reviewing an agent on @RialoHQ can see the policy, its expiry and its conditions, and understand the boundary without digging into the agent’s internals. Conduit’s treasury flows and the Agent Grand Prix constraints already run on this model on devnet. Every new Builder Hub project that adopts it adds another example of permissions that can be inspected in the open.

ePBS is supposed to be a builder race, but on Sepolia the field looked thin. Reportedly only about five builders were active on October 8, and the largest ones had not joined yet. That matters for @get_optimum’s builder pitch. Their argument is that payload delivery in the 3 to 9 second window becomes the bottleneck once builders compete for real. A race with five participants tests the protocol, but it does not test the market yet. Hoodi is set for October 26, and that is where the full builder set will either show up or not. I’m more interested in who arrives there than in the propagation numbers.

Imagine moving millions onchain while everyone watches. For institutions, public transactions can expose trading strategies. That's why @FlutonIO matters. Confidential execution could be a key piece of institutional DeFi.

Drawbook was presented in the @RialoHQ Builder Hub, and it turns a raffle into something anyone can verify. The winner is decided by secret values that participants commit to before sales close and reveal afterward, so the outcome comes from the community’s own inputs rather than from whoever runs the draw. The creator sets the rules once: prize, winner count, ticket price, maximum tickets and timing windows. Those conditions are locked after creation. Each ticket records a commitment tied to that raffle, that ticket number and that buyer. Purchase, reveal, draw and claim all happen onchain, and anyone can recompute the results from public data. Entrants get their deposit back when they reveal on time, which keeps the reveal phase active. The live testnet demo showed the full path: a 10 ticket raffle, four tickets revealed, the draw run, ticket 4 selected, and the prize claimed on screen. Drawbook also plans to use Rialo’s native scheduling so the draw starts on its own after the reveal window closes, with no bots or relayers. That’s exactly the kind of feature a reactive chain makes possible, and exactly what Builder Hub projects are there to prove.
