The disgusting racism of Pauline Hanson in calling on Australians to turn their backs on Welcome to Country ceremonies is sickening. What’s divisive is the dehumanising and demonising of Indigenous people, not showing our respect to 60,000 of culture, people and traditions.
Ready to start the last face to face PRESTARSS workshop this morning with Victorian researchers who explore sensitive & traumatic research. Love doing this work funded by @AliveNational to determine how we can better support researchers to prevent and respond to vicarious trauma
The PRESTARSS Study is about to host its third round of workshops!
This is a great opportunity to inform the recommendations for universities, ethics committees, funders and supervisors address secondary stress & vicarious #trauma amongst researchers.

Today is the International day of the World’s #Indigenous peoples!
Take a moment to realise that without the care traditional custodians have demonstrated for lands over thousands of years we would not survive and thrive on these lands today. Huge respect! #IndigenousPeoplesDay

#IndigenousPeoples make up 6% of the global population but are overrepresented among the world's poorest.
The @ILO Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention is designed to protect their human rights, livelihoods & access to decent work.
I urge all Member States to Ratify #C169.

We are extremely concerned by the death of 3 women in alleged family violence over the last week. We need all parts of society to make this crisis a priority, from governments to all workplaces, schools & individuals. It's up to all of us to stop this violence before it starts.
