Hi @panmacmillan our book club choice is by @alicewriterland a UK writer, BBC journo, a UK-set story. Why have you imposed American spellings/choices: checkbook, check, favorite, fall, whiskey (in Scotland!) etc. Did Alice write this way? Ironic that Harlan’s quote says favourite
