Iâve great respect for Bostrom and Harris on many topics. But on AI, their collaboration more than a decade ago amplified a mistaken philosophy and flawed epistemology that set the scene for much of the conversation today.

Children forget what they are painfully forced to memorise. No one mentions this except accidentally in side-remarks about something else. Not facing that fact conceals the enormity of the waste, hurt and harm done by the bucket theory of the mind.

Meta will enforce a two-hour daily limit on Instagram and Facebook for children as part of a record $17.1B settlement with 29 states over social media addiction claims:
