This storyboard is a bit heavier than usual - it's based on a memory from my childhood.
(Possibly tw for immigration trauma, please be careful when watching!)

I had no idea. What a bummer...
Nelvana was my first steady animation job out of school. I worked as a cleanup artist in the design department on a show called Cyberchase.
I spent all day everyday listening to audiobooks and cleaning up my supervisor's design sketches.

Tell everyone who will listen about the importance of Story and what we do! Story needs defined job roles to weather job creep and other abuses. #StoryCraftUnite #StandWithAnimation

Lupita Nyong’o gives huge praise to the animators that worked on ‘THE WILD ROBOT’
“It is the animators that are the performers here, right? We are lending ourselves to their work. There’s just a feeling of gratitude to be a part of it. It’s outstanding what these people have done and the painstaking work that goes into every single frame and the fact that it’s painted over by human hands”

Depending on your country, here's another chance to see the best movie ever (MIND GAME) for free! It changed my whole approach to animation and film. Also very smart of 4C to just give the movie away for a while in places where it doesn't currently have a licensing deal.
"Mind Game" animated movie by Masaaki Yuasa is back again on Youtube for free in 191 countries (and with 20 languages/subs) until June 17, thanks to @STUDIO4C.

Once again from the rooftops, PLEASE WATCH CAROL!!! It is rare for this industry to allow protagonists who are NOT the typical proactive, enthusiastic, and optimistic tropes. Carol is a shining example of how different kinds of people can drive stories and be just as compelling.
I’ll be part of a roundtable panel at @LightBoxExpo tomorrow at 10:30-11:30am, Ballroom F presented by Sheridan College!
We’ll be talking about our experiences of adapting to the changes in the industry 🎐💨 Come join us for some perspective! #storyboard #lightboxexpo2023

We did it. We have a tentative deal.
Over the coming days, we'll discuss and vote on it, together, as a democratic union. But today, I want to thank every single WGA member, and every fellow worker who stood with us in solidarity. You made this possible. Thank you. #WGAStrong

I found yonder storyboard. Nick's animation and colours and lines are perfect, I love how this turned out.
The first two episodes of Fionna and Cake are out today. I animated the intro for the series based on boards by @wolfhard. This was my first pass so there are some differences from the final version, mostly the timing of the close-up running scenes, some color and bg changes etc
