"E.B COX (1914-2003) Legendary and incendiary Toronto sculptor who basically invented coffee table art, stuck it to the eliteist effete art snobs, never took a dime in Government funding, and was an all around one-of-kind visionary Canadian. Also friend to the Group of 7; he carved most of their tombstones. This short look at E.B and his work aired on TVOntario in 2000, just a few years before his death. He is still very sadly missed, even though his art will outlive us all!" - @retrontario E.B Cox - A Life in Sculpture (2000) youtu.be/2ZODPylIuD0?si=zwzN… via @YouTube

Let me take you back to 1993 in Toronto Canada. McDonald’s had 23 outlets in Skydome and guess who they employed? 1600 Teenagers aged 16 to 18 years old. These jobs were not meant to be careers, they were a way for teens to earn some money for the summer and post secondary school.
