Ibinahagi sa media ni Amanda Alvarez, residente ng Valenzuela City, ang uncut version ng video ng kaniyang pagpunta sa tanggapan ng CSWD upang ilahad ang kaniyang hinaing kaugnay ng ilang buwang pagkaantala sa pag-release ng kaniyang Solo Parent ID.
Kailangan umano ni Alvarez ang ID para makapag-apply sa pabahay ng lungsod para sa mga solo parent, matapos mapabilang sa mga na-demolish ang kanilang tirahan sa bahagi ng Daang Uldog sa Barangay Dalandanan.
Sa video, makikita si Alvarez na sinusubukang bawiin ang mga dokumentong isinumite niya para sa aplikasyon.
Maririnig din ang ilang kawani ng City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) na sinusubukang pakalmahin ang residente.
Samantala, iginiit ni Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian na hindi kumpleto ang mga dokumentong isinumite ni Alvarez kaya tumagal ang proseso ng kaniyang aplikasyon.
"In this case po ay hindi kumpleto. Tumagal nang three months ang sinasabi niya sa pagkuha ng Solo Parent Card ay dahil hindi ho kumpleto ang kanyang dokumento. Paulit-ulit po kaming humihingi at ang proof na proving na siya ay relative ng pamilya at siya ang nag-aalaga ng mga pamangkin. Iyon ho ang hinihingi namin," ani Gatchalian.
Ayon pa sa alkalde, aprubado na ang Solo Parent ID ni Alvarez noong araw na kinunan ang video at handa na itong i-release.

I alwys complain abt my struggles. But, seeing those patientsβ the ones lying on the floor, makes me feel like I have no right to do so when there are ppl who are struggling more than me

Parang yung demand natin for accountability noise lang for them, pause lang saglit pero wala pag nakalimot na mga tao continue π
