Congratulations to our friend Hana Sharif @repstl_ad on a triumphant opening night at @repstl’s last play of the season: Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. It is fitting, during Women’s History Month, to reflect on her journey as the nation’s first Black female director of a major theater, now in her fourth season - bringing diversity, excellence and pushing the envelope for our expectations of theater and the arts in St. Louis. The set was exquisite and the actors honored this classic. This is a date or family night out must: repstl.org/events/detail/mur… I will always remember you giving a young ID doc straight out of fellowship her ”big break” when you invited me to give me my largest in person speaking engagement on your stage to close out your first play of your opening season “Angels in America”. Much love friend 🤎
