It’s games like this Shai vs Wemby game that determine who wins the MVP far more than anything else. It’s not even close
Shai has outplayed Jokic and Wemby and Luka in past years. It’s very hard for the voter to justify voting someone who got outplayed in a few games even if their seasons were MVP level

Before stepping into the ring, Cus D’Amato would repeat to Mike Tyson that you don’t exist, only the task exists.
The moment you internalize what this really means, all self-doubt simply ceases to exist, because there’s no longer a self to doubt.
What’s left is total immersion in the task, which is what the flow state actually is, where there’s no “you” left to interfere, and action arises by itself, like second nature, faster than conscious thought, through the sheer genius of your unconscious mind.

Jay-Z is rap’s Triple H. Pac and Big were his Rock/Austin, and Drake is his John Cena. He was never THE guy, but he stuck around the top for so long that we put him in convo’s he was never actually in. Stephanie McMahon is his Beyonce, without her…
50 Cent DEBATES with Andrew Schulz’s co-host AlexxMedia over Jay-Z, claiming Hov NEVER dominated rap musically like people think and used his LABEL to put himself among the GREATS, before saying Jay-Z NEVER beat him and did EVERYTHING to make sure Kanye West could 😳👀
“Jay-Z is significant and a phenomenal artist, but even better at maneuvering himself into that position without the music actually doing it. They did every f-cking thing, they unloaded the bank, to get that Kanye record into a good space. Then it worked.”
