I recently had a fantastic conversation with the American Meat Producers Association. It’s always so valuable to hear directly from farmers, ranchers, and producers about the issues shaping American agriculture. These are the heroes keeping America fed!!

I’ve joined @RepJamesComer as an original cosponsor of the Survivor’s Voice Protection Act (H.R. 10389). A contract should never silence victims. This bill voids NDAs that stop survivors from speaking the truth!

Times have changed. It’s time to modernize the home buying process.

I voted last week for the bipartisan Ratepayer Protection Act (H.R. 9340), which I cosponsored and passed the House 417-3, to protect Colorado families from higher electric bills. Data centers should pay for the power and grid upgrades they require and not pass those costs on to working people, farmers, and small businesses. This bill puts the full incremental cost of new generation and transmission on the large load that created it, so everyday ratepayers are not held responsible.

We had an incredibly productive August, meeting with friends, businesses, and organizations across CD4. Honored to be your representative and we aren’t slowing down!!

The 120th Fighter Squadron put me in the back of an F-16 and reminded Colorado what airpower looks like when it’s flown by our own. Grateful to Maj. Dane “Luda” Lannon, Lt. Col. Elizabeth “Niki” Gray, and to every Airman who keeps these Fighting Falcons ready. America first. Colorado proud.

Last night the House passed the bipartisan Water Resources Development Act (H.R. 9497) with my Arkansas Valley Conduit legislation in it. After 60 years, 50,000 Coloradans in 39 communities are one step closer to winning that fight and getting the clean water they were promised.

I had a great stop in McClave at EV Extracts. We toured their operation and talked about the hemp industry, rural economic development, and the policies impacting Colorado businesses. Thank you for having me!!

Colorado’s farmers and ranchers don’t need more red tape, they need a government that gets out of their way and lets them do what they do best. I sat down with producers in Lamar to hear directly about the challenges facing agriculture in southeastern Colorado, including water, drought, grazing, CRP, beef labeling, processing and the Farm Bill. Our farmers and ranchers feed this country. I’ll keep fighting to protect their livelihoods, defend private property rights and make sure Colorado agriculture has a strong voice in Washington.

I’ve always fought for rural hospitals and worked with my colleagues to secure $200.1 million for Colorado and $1 billion over five years in the Working Families Tax Cuts law.
