There will be a lot of noise about the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Labour and the Greens competing over who can be trusted to handle the cost of living crisis. Neither, though, will address the root cause of the crisis, that society is run on behalf of those who own the land and factories.
Until these are brought into common ownership, there will be poverty and unemployment, as this is how the owners get us to work for them. Our aim is to get this message out through the noise. You can help punch through the noise by getting people to write World Socialism across their ballot paper.

The Covid pandemic was, of course, hugely disruptive. But there were instances involving positive outcomes, particularly when it came to a focus on leadership as opposed to leaders in health care settings. This project aims to record those experiences and share their insights.

I'd love it if you could join with me to engage in unpacking power in the workplace. These sessions offer insight into ways of thinking about power in this context and space for us to consider our individual and collective experience of it.
Loving quiz and game shows as I do, here are some observations I feel moved to make in light of two formats that I have viewed recently - and the lessons they might contain for people looking to lead in corporate life

This LI piece explores how “therapy speak” in the workplace reveals the artificiality and strained nature of communication between managers and employees… linkedin.com/posts/mark-cole…
How "therapy speak" impacts corporate life, in terms of the balances between voice and silence.
The exchanges between managers and employees are very often performative, to the extent that they can no longer really be considered communication.

How best might we develop leadership? As part of a personal commitment to criticality, reflexivity, and ethics, I’ve gone back to first principles in this piece for People Management to explore “leadership” and “development” in the corporate environment.
