Naza â this fucked me up on a deep level. No film has left me with a feeling of such profound despair after the credits rolled.. the way itâs filmed, on the rooftops of Tel Aviv in the dead of night, juxtaposed against the life that just goes on, as the analysts and technicians give their accounts creates such a bone-chilling atmosphere. Surely one of the greatest pieces of investigative journalism ever documented. No wonder Israel doesnât want anyone to see this. Or doesnât want any independent investigations into Gaza.
If you watch Naza and still think Israel hasnât committed genocide, youâre just lying to yourself.

By branding anti-Zionism as antisemitic, this so called 'liberal' ignores the Miller v Bristol ruling, which protects such beliefs. He is weaponizing anti-racism to suppress legitimate dissent, proving he prioritizes point-scoring and censorship over free expression and justice.

Simultaneously pathetic and outrageous.
Under international law, as accepted even by Israel, the IDF Commander of the Central Command is the sovereign in the occupied West Bank.
The IDF regime backs settler terrorists and abandons to their fate Palestinians under our rule.
The savage attacks on Palestinians have been going on for months and years with the IDF, at best, turning a blind eye to the terror, and at times participating in "the festivities".
The IDF has now been taught that the world will give us a pass on pogroms against Palestinians, but is less tolerant when the victims are European diplomats and members of the press. That does not speak well of "the world".
It's long overdue to conclude that we will not stop until we are stopped.
The IDF strongly condemns the severe act of violence that took place in the area of Taybeh, during which diplomatic representatives were attacked by Israeli rioters.
Police forces and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are entering the area accompanied by IDF soldiers and will begin collecting findings and evidence, as well as taking testimonies, in support of an investigation that has been opened.
The consulate's visit was not coordinated with the IDF. Such coordination is important to prevent incidents of this kind.
According to a preliminary inquiry, no IDF soldiers were present at the scene at the time of the attack. The report was sent to the brigade operations room, which is designated to receive reports from security personnel only, and not from civilians. The operations room receives dozens of operational reports each day and responds only to authorized personnel, not civilians. It should be emphasized that other designated channels are available for civilians to submit complaints. All circumstances surrounding the incident will be examined.

The problem for the BBC isn't that it produces bad TV shows -- it does, or at least it did, produce great TV. The problem for the BBC is it has lost the trust of many people through its biased and dumbed-down coverage of news and politics, which many of us have been disgusted by.

Barack Obama, seen here dehumanizing millions of Palestinians.
Obama on Israel:
The fact is that the Jewish people, for millennia, were oppressed, discriminated against, killed. Europe was responsible for much of it. They understandably sought a refuge.
That is undeniable. What is also undeniable is that they took land off people, and they were excessive.
And those people understandably said, "This is injustice, and I want my land back."

One absolutely fascinating phenomenon in this Green Party 'Zionism is Racism' saga, which is deserving of way deeper interrogation, is how both Israel advocacy and *some* so-called Palestine solidarity are desperately trying to convince the public that it's all about the affiliate group Jewish Greens - that they are to blame, or that they are the driving force, behind efforts to derail the Zionism is Racism policy.
April Rosenblum identified this form of antisemitism almost two decades ago when she highlighted how anti-Jewish oppression functions as a tool for the ruling class:
Antisemitism functions by keeping a "Jewish face in front" so that Jews absorb public rage instead of the ruling classes, which operates even more effectively as a form of antisemitism when some Jews achieve visible success or are credited with certain actions.
David Miller, Matt Kennard, Greens 4 Palestine, and Tony Greenstein all want us view the Jewish Greens in exactly the same way as the Jewish Labour Movement. They are obsessed with suggesting that the Jewish Greens, as an affiliate to the Green Party, are engaged in some nefarious secretive Zionist plot to undermine Zack Polanski, the Green Party itself, and to then weaponise antisemitism to stifle and shut down Palestine solidarity.
On the other side of the same coin we have the ruling class, the anti-Palestinian media, and Israel advocacy organisations all trying to convince the public that Jewish Greens as an organisation are kicking up a fuss to the Zionism is Racism motion and they also want to convince the rest of us that the Jewish Greens are represented solely by the pro-Israel / Zionist Jewish Green Party members.
One big problem: Jewish Greens, as an affiliate organisation to the Green Party, have a membership that is - according to their own internal survey published 2nd October 2026 - majority non/anti-Zionist. It was also found that there is strong support among Jewish Greens for the partyâs pro-Palestine positions. When asked whether members identify as Zionist, 81% of the 108 responses to this question said no.
70 respondents described themselves as anti-Zionist and 70 as non-zionist, including 45 who answered âyesâ to both âare you an anti Zionistâ and âare you a non-Zionist.â 71% of anti-Zionist respondents stated that this was an important part of their Jewish identity.
Crucually, opposition to the Zionism is Racism motion did not only come from Zionist members of the group. Those supporting the motion mostly identified themselves as anti-zionist, not all anti-zionists Jewish Greens supported the motion. The opposition to the motion among pro-Palestinian members of the Green Party, and in particular among anti-Zionist Jewish Green Party members, is highly nuanced and complex.
Importantly, I want to tell everyone that despite the best efforts of both the Board of Deputies and Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) over recent months and the past number of years, they have not managed to make any inroads with the Jewish Greens as an organisation, nor have they been able to co-opt the Jewish Greens as a tool for Israel advocacy. The Israeli Embassy hasn't even attempted to be in contact with Jewish Greens because they assessed the organisation as a risk due to the anti-Zionist membership base. The closest Jewish Greens have come to liberal Zionism is having held events with some groups that might now be seen as pro Israel: the Parents cycle, Yachad, and Standing Together.
One Jewish Green officer recently told me that they were frustrated by the attacks on them by Greens 4 Palestine because unlike the Jewish Labour Movement (JLM) "we are not a pro-Israel advocacy group laundering Jewish identity to shield Israel."
Jewish Greens exist as a formal affiliate since 2018. They hold elections every year. Their focus is primarily upon the bread and butter issues that impact the Jewish community (Kosher food, ethical environmental policies and Judaism, antisemitism etc)

in my original post about the Sally Rooney affair I have been accused of oversimplifying what has happened. And that's fair - I did. But after going into this in more depth I realise that we end up in much the same place - books not on sale to the UK public because of the entirely unrelated activities of their author. After all who is to know whether the proceeds from books that would have been sold would actually be the money to be be donated to Palestine Action as opposed to money that Rooney has already made or is making elsewhere? Rooney btw, with scant regard for her readers, seems not to be unhappy for this to happen.
I don't imagine that the government anticipated this outcome when it produced the ban and I'm not at all sure that Faber shouldn't have taken the risk of a prosecution that probably would never have happened. The result is the same - books not available for political reasons.

The banning or restriction of the sale or display of Sally Rooney's books (or anyone else's) on the basis of their political views, represents a defeat for liberal democracy and freedom of expression. We only have to go back to the treatment of Salman Rushdie to understand what it means.

How are Germans ok with this blatant show of power? They could have run without the flag and nobody would have known they were Israeli.
The flag is clearly part of the spectacle. This feels less like a jog and more like a humiliation ritual for Germans.
