Please read and share this article from *The BMJ* on *"Sexual violence against Palestinians". It’s difficult reading, but must be shared. Five doctors and legal scholars examine the evidence and call for independent investigations and accountability.

Huge support for Palestine at the Labour Party conference as H.E. Ambassador @hzomlot meets with Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband, Minister of State for the Middle East @SDoughtyMP and other Labour parliamentarians and members at the @LFPME reception in Liverpool.

A historic moment indeed. Thank you @LFPME

“This is first and foremost about humanity”.
Ambassador @hzomlot spoke movingly of a conversation with the Foreign Secretary about their mothers, one the child of a Holocaust survivor, one a child of the Nakba, both wanting the same thing: peace.

Taking a principled stand is a hard decision to take but the easiest one to live with.
Bravo 🙌
Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu has withdrawn from Ireland’s Nations League match against Israel and released a statement:
“Representing my country means everything to me. I have the utmost respect for every single one of my teammates, the manager, his staff and the Irish people.
However, I have reached a decision that I have not taken lightly. I am a man of strong faith and try my best to be a person of character and principle. Therefore, I feel it would be wrong to participate in the upcoming fixtures against Israel.
My decision is based purely upon my personal belief that the killing of innocent people is wrong.
It is important to note that my stance is not in opposition to the Israeli people or the Jewish community, but against the atrocities in the region.
There are few times in life when you get a chance to stand up for something bigger, and I strongly believe that this is one of them.”

Last night's Dispatches on British complicity in the genocide in Gaza by @Basement_Films was excellent. Sadly buried at 11.05 pm and entirely ignored by British media.

My huge honour to be the inagural recipient of the alderson-griffin award at @Augishealth 2026. Immensely proud to represent @NDSurgicalSci and the work we are doing as an UGI community in the UK and internationally.

I wish those denouncing the genocide, often at great cost (think of Palestinian journalists and the antiApartheid front everywhere) had been listened to. Dozens of thousand lives would have been spared. And Israel could have been saved from itself.

Just been to see LIFE SUPPORT, remarkable film about Gaza as seen through the eyes of British and other international doctors. Utterly harrowing. Genocide. It is on Apple TV but should be on the Beeb. And every MP should see it.
