I just made my final payment to Leif for my ISA from my time at @bloomtech (FKA Lambda School). That means I've been coding professionally now for 2 years. I've had many ups and downs but today I am proud of where I've come from and what I've accomplished. #womenintech #proud

Oh hey I just came out of my cave to say hello. You think I’m kidding but there was an actual bat in my house today. #bat 🦇

Along with my career, I’ve also been working on my #fitness #goals. What started out as a challenge to see if I could finish a workout program I started in HS has turned into a lifestyle. It’s never too late to go after what you want if you’re willing to put in the effort.

I just checked for if the first item in my res.data was an object vs a string data type: github.com/amlane/pocket-dic…

Built a pocket dictionary with the Merriam-Webster API today! I set it up to handles typos so you can press on the suggested word to see that definition. Very fun API! It was a challenge but I was able to build and deploy this in just a few hours! #100DaysOfCode #womenintech

Had an interview today 🤞 I created the option for a user to choose their color theme for my memory game using CSS variables. VERY cool. 👩‍🎨🎨 I also made a pop up menu with vanilla CSS and keyframes. gameofmemory.netlify.app Day 7 #100DaysOfCode

Added levels to my memory game and now I want to add the option to pick a color theme 🎨 Once you pass the final level you get a read out of your personal record for every level! Day 6 #100DaysOfCode

My oven caught on fire today while I was just preheating it so I took a nap this afternoon. Then I added confetti and a winners modal to my game! 🎉 I wonder what game I should try building next. 🤔

Yo I made a game without a tutorial! I even took the extra time to make it mobile friendly. I made this in just a few hours so there are still a few kinks to iron out but I'm proud of this! gameofmemory.netlify.app/ Source code: github.com/amlane/matching-g… Day 5 #100DaysOfCode

Started to build a memory game using ReactJs this afternoon in between 1:1s with students. I know it’s simple but I’ve always wanted to build one, ok? GOSH. I’ll link my code in the comments. Day 4 #100DaysOfCode
