Love to help, but I would want to do it in hyperstack.org. It’s a rails gem... see youtu.be/GEe7hHIhyUs for a quick overview
Hyperstack is also approaching 1.0... already in use by a couple of medium apps like catprint.com. We would love to get feedback before final release youtu.be/GEe7hHIhyUs By the way all lot of opal users feel it should have been 1.0 for years now. Very stable.

What u r looking for is hyperstack.org . inspired partly by meteor, its a rails gem that lets u write react components in ruby, and is fully integrated client side with your active record models. Build a complete todo app in just a few minutes youtu.be/GEe7hHIhyUs

We were so frustrated by this a few years back that we built hyperstack.org . Because Hyperstack is built on Rails and Ruby (you code 100% in Ruby no JS) resulting apps are about 1/4 the size of Rails+Redux equivalent. Overview here: youtu.be/GEe7hHIhyUs

@dan_abramov Thought u might checkout hyperstack.org We have taken React (so cool) replaced JSX with a Ruby DSL (cause we love Ruby) & tightly integrated it with Rails. The result is a very productive. If you only have 10 minutes check out youtu.be/GEe7hHIhyUs
Ruby is BAAACK! Checkout hyperstack.org . Its a Rails Gem that lets you write React FE code in .... RUBY!!! Yes! and even sweeter, your AR models are automatically available and synced on the client. Here is quick video so you can see the power: youtu.be/GEe7hHIhyUs

It is easy to build secure APIs with Rails: sourcey.com/articles/buildin… But here is another option: check out hyperstack.org. It uses Rails & React, and takes care of all the security, APIs, etc, etc for you. checkout this video: youtu.be/GEe7hHIhyUs
