This is the UAE Foreign Minister talking about Islamists rising in Europe.
You know why he chose to say it in English?
Because so often the media changes the translation to be “politically correct” in ways that completely miss the core message and appeases Muslims.

There’s a lot of self-serving spin emanating from the UK government about how virtuous it is re fiscal consolidation.
Here are the facts.
Labour inherited an OBR budget deficit forecast of £87bn (3.1% GDP) for FY2024/25. After R Reeves’ 1st disastrous budget the actual deficit was £153bn (5.2%). Massive jump.
Labour inherited OBR budget deficit of £77bn (2.7%) for FY2025/26. After RR’s disastrous 2nd budget that turned out to be £133bn (4.3%).
So in its first two years it added over £120bn to borrowing/deficit (despite huge increase in taxes).
The OBR forecast it inherited for this FY2026/27 was £69bn (2.3%). It is now forecast to be £116bn (3.3%). That looks like an underestimate. More likely to be closer to £130bn again.
Inherited budget forecast for 2027/28: £51bn (1.6%). Latest forecast: £97bn (2.9%).
Inherited budget forecast for 2028/29: £39bn (1.2%). Latest forecast: £86bn (2.5%).
Far from fiscal consolidation Labour is forecast to borrow an incredible £260bn more over the 5 years from 2024/25 than the forecasts it inherited. Despite the tax rises.
Which will continue. Alone among G7 countries the IMF projects the UK tax burden to rise by 3.7% of GDP 2025-31. The only other country with a rising tax burden is France (0.8%). Italy is static. Rest of G7 have falling tax burden.
And let’s not forget Labour’s so-called ‘fiscal consolidation’ is all backloaded to end-decade. Unlikely to happen. So taxes will have to rise by even more.

🤡 Ok lets talk about foreign attempts to influence the Brexit vote (apart from Obama telling us we'd be at the "back of the queue" for a trade deal).... It's quite the list don't you think?
▪️ George Soros – Billionaire financier. Predicted sterling could fall by 15–20% or more, making British households poorer.
▪️ Bill Gates – Warned Britain would become significantly less attractive for business, investment and scientific research.
▪️WEF – published warnings that Brexit could cause profound recession, financial instability and falling investment.
▪️ François Hollande – French President. Warned of consequences for British trade & financial services.
▪️Hillary Clinton – US. Publicly backed Remain supporting Obama's position.
▪️ Angela Merkel – German Chancellor. Publicly backed remain.
▪️ Jean-Claude Juncker – European Commission President. Warned Britain not to leave.
▪️Justin Trudeau – Canadian Prime Minister. Warned that Britain would not get easy or automatic trade agreements after Brexit.
▪️ Donald Tusk – European Council President. Warned Brexit could have serious political and economic consequences.
▪️ Enda Kenny – Irish Prime Minister. Warned Brexit could threaten stability in Northern Ireland.
▪️ Shinzo Abe – Japanese Prime Minister. Warned Brexit could threaten Japanese investment and more than 100,000 British jobs.
▪️ Michael Bloomberg – American billionaire, former New York mayor. Supported Remain and warned of economic and employment consequences.
▪️ Li Ka-shing – Hong Kong billionaire. Warned Brexit would damage Britain.
▪️ Wang Jianlin – Chinese billionaire. Warned Brexit could affect Chinese investment in Britain.
▪️ Jamie Dimon – JPMorgan Chase CEO. Warned that thousands of British financial-services jobs could be at risk.
▪️ International Monetary Fund (IMF) – Christine Lagarde warned the economic consequences could range from "pretty bad to very, very bad".
▪️ Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) – Predicted Brexit would leave British households thousands of pounds worse off annually.
▪️ G7 – Formally declared Brexit a serious risk to global economic growth.
▪️ G20 – Identified Britain's possible departure from the EU as a potential shock to the global economy.
▪️ European Commission – Warned Britain would lose existing privileges and face new trade barriers.
▪️ Bono and U2 – Irish musicians. Supported Britain remaining in the EU.
▪️ Liam Neeson – Irish actor. Encouraged eligible Irish voters in Britain to vote Remain.
▪️ Patti Smith – American singer. Supported a public appeal asking Britain to stay.
▪️ Jean-Michel Jarre – French musician. Supported an appeal opposing Brexit.
▪️ Lilian Thuram – French former footballer. Supported an appeal asking Britain to remain.
The scale of attempted foreign interference in Brexit was extreme...
And in the face of ALL of the opposition, in the face of all the threats to force us to comply... the majority voted Leave anyway 💣

Who was first? Palestinians or Jews? The answer is not 'either or'.
In the Egyptian Museum in Cairo stands a slab of black granite carved around 1208 BCE. Its hieroglyphs celebrate the victories of the pharaoh Mernepta: “Israel is laid waste; his seed is not.”
The display makes no mention that more than three thousand years ago, an Egyptian king who knew nothing of the Hebrew Bible recorded that a people called Israel was living in Canaan.
The modern pro-Islamist claim that Jews are latecomers is historically false. Numerous ancient records refute it.
Around 840 BCE, King Mesha of Moab carved a stone boasting of his war against Israel and naming the Israelite king, Omri.
A ninth-century BCE inscription found at Tel Dan refers to the “House of David.”
In 701 BCE, the Assyrian king Sennacherib recorded his siege of “Hezekiah the Judean” in Jerusalem.
These records are written by people with every reason to ignore Israel, that confirm that an Israelite and Judean people lived in the hills of Canaan for centuries before Rome existed.
The second claim is that Palestinians are an ancient people of the region, even older than Israel. This also fails.
The word Palestine is truly old, but it never referred to the people who carry that name today. Herodotus used Palaistinē in the fifth century BCE, and it comes from the Philistines, a seafaring people who arrived on the southern coast around 1200 BCE.
A 2019 study of ancient DNA from Ashkelon, published in Science Advances, found that the Philistines brought European-related ancestry with them, and that within two centuries it had been absorbed into the local population.
The Philistines disappeared after Babylon destroyed their cities around 604 BCE. Rome revived their name in about 135 CE, after crushing the Bar Kokhba revolt, and renamed the province of Judea as Syria Palaestina.
The Arab armies came in the 630s CE, some 1,800 years after Merneptah’s scribe carved the word Israel. They brought new rulers, a language, and a religion, and over the centuries most of the population adopted all three. What we call the distinctly Palestinian national identity arrived much later.
The Palestinian historian Rashid Khalidi, no friend of Zionism, dates its emergence in his book Palestinian Identity to the late Ottoman period and the early twentieth century.
Under the British Mandate, “Palestine” was attached to any group that lived in the region, including Christians, Muslims, and Jews, that the country’s leading English-language Jewish newspaper was called the Palestine Post.
It became the Jerusalem Post in 1950.
Modern genetic studies show that both Jews and Levantine Arabs, including Palestinians, carry substantial similar ancestry from ancient populations.
But historically, the Jewish people have an independently documented presence in that land going back more than three thousand years. Palestinians are, in large part, Arab descendants of the land’s long-term inhabitants, but their national identity is about a century old.
As to the claim of who lived in the land first, between Jews and Palestinians, the answer is not close.
Anyone who stands on a campus and calls the Jews of Israel foreign colonizers in their ancestral home is arguing with a granite slab in Cairo that names a Judean king in Jerusalem nearly 1,300 years before Muhammad was born.
Stones never lie.

This is economic illiteracy of a high order.
After separation Scotland would still use sterling. So it would have to borrow in £s to cover its massive budget deficit and promise lenders it would pay back in £s (or they won’t lend).
But after an unspecified transition it would move to a Scottish currency. But all the borrowing done during the transition would have to be paid back in sterling.
If the Scottish currency plummeted v sterling (likely given the size of the deficit, lack of credit track record etc) that could become an unmanageable burden given the likely poor exchange rate.
Scotland would have to borrow billions in its own currency just to convert to sterling to pay back lenders. Devaluing the Scottish currency further.
What a shambles that would be.
He has no idea what he’s talking about.

Great video from Andrew Neil as he likens Labour’s conference to the Titanic - complacently steaming towards a rendezvous with reality.
Thatcherism heralded the most successful post-war period we’ve ever had.
Burnham hates it but the reality is we’ve become a failed State because we’ve moved away from it to embrace the things he loves and wants more of.

AN IRAQI JUST DROPPED THE TRUTH BOMB THE ENTIRE REGION IS TOO COWARDLY TO SAY OUT LOUD.
This video has been circulating and many have asked to pass it along, so here is my share as it is a direct reference to Netanyahu’s speech at the UN General Assembly, which was delivered on September 24, 2026.
Raith Al-Tamimi, an Iraqi living in the UK, just said what countless Arabs think but are terrified to admit:
He applauds Netanyahu. Always.
When the host clutched her pearls about “war crimes,” he didn’t flinch:
“Oh my dear lady. Every leader who makes a mark on history has to commit war crimes. Show me someone who defends his people the way Netanyahu does.”
He didn’t stop there. He went straight for the throat of the entire “Palestinian cause” industry:
“I applauded a man willing to stand up to the whole world for his people. A man who, to defend the dignity of Israeli women, is willing to destroy the entire world.”
And when she tried the classic “what about Palestinian women and children?” he gutted it:
“That is Mahmoud Abbas’s responsibility, not Netanyahu’s. It’s the Palestinians’ responsibility.
Why is protecting Palestinian women, of all women, the whole world’s job, but not Sinwar’s or Abbas’s?
The women of Morocco are the responsibility of the King of Morocco.
The women of Saudi Arabia are the responsibility of the King of Saudi Arabia.
The women of Iraq are the responsibility of the Iraqi government.
Why would Palestinian women be any different? What is this nonsense?
When Israeli women were taken, who defended them? The Israelis. Period.
Let the Palestinians defend their own women.”
Then he finished the job on the “occupation” myth:
“What occupation? Occupation is when a country exists and its land is occupied. Tell me, where is this country? Name it. What is it called?
An imaginary country that exists in our minds to fuel the wars in our countries.
Our interests lie with Israel.
We have nothing to do with Mahmoud Abbas and nothing to do with Sinwar.”
This is not some Western hasbara talking point. This is an Iraqi man who grew up in the region, who knows the games, the blood, and the excuses and he’s done pretending.
Watch it. Share it. Let the truth cut through the noise.
This needs to be heard.

In 1997 the Tories bequeathed New Labour:
- 3.5% GDP growth
- 4.5% wage growth
- 4.6% manufacturing output growth
- Energy independence and falling energy prices
- A brand new nuclear power station (1995)
- New reservoirs (1992)
- Construction of Manchester airport's second runway
- Falling unemployment
- London as the world’s leading foreign-exchange centre
- A newly opened Channel Tunnel
- Debt at just 37% of GDP
- On track for a balanced budget
Andy Burnham just said that this was failure. Somehow.

A few facts are worth remembering when Argentina repeats its expansionist & unfounded claims about the Falkland Islands.
Britain formally asserted possession in 1765 - decades before Argentina existed (& many decades after the British first discovering the islands).
Argentina first asserted possession in 1820 due to temporary Spanish occupation of the islands.
In 1833, Britain removed that military garrison; the small civilian population was not expelled, despite false Argentine claims.
Apart from the illegal Argentine invasion in 1982, Britain has administered the Islands continuously since 1833.
In 2013, Falkland Islanders voted to remain a British Overseas Territory, with 99.8% of the vote.
These facts are neither complicated nor in question. The Falkland Islanders have the right to self determination. 🇫🇰🇬🇧

The British Left is in a time warp when it comes to Europe. Do they have no idea what’s happening there? Don’t they read the papers? Meloni is PM of Italy. AfD is outpolling CDU and SPD combined in Germany. Le Pen is favourite to be the next president of France. Socialist Sanchez in Spain is finished.
They seem to think the EU we left (for good or ill) in 2016 is the Europe of today. Delusional.
🚨 NEW: David Miliband says Brexit amounted to a "unilateral declaration of political impotence" and has left Britain like a "bobbing cork in the sea".
The former Labour foreign secretary says Britain now needs a new formal relationship with the EU and believes Andy Burnham is more likely than Keir Starmer to deliver it.
Burnham recently refused to rule out putting reversing Brexit in Labour's next manifesto, saying it was a question "for another day".

Dame Edna sat next to Helen Mirren and said she was offered the Queen first, then added, “This is a terrible thing to say and I mean it so nicely… I looked too young for the part.”
She mentioned Helen’s name and the role just fell into her lap.
That pause after “nicely” is the entire joke. Nobody else could insult an Oscar winner to her face, claim it was a compliment, and still have the room eating out of her hand.

So let’s get this right Hegseth. You and your boss start a war against Iran without even informing never mind consulting your European allies, during which Iran seizes the Strait of Hormuz — which you’re now struggling to wrest back. And now you say it’s Europe’s fight rather than America’s.
No. You broke it. You fix it.
