Popping back up to Providence for #WorkOfRevolution after an afternoon in New Haven. Shout out to my former colleague Richard Cellini, Prof. David Blight, @Yale's Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition, and all the amazing attendees.

I saw a post on Reddit that said, “When you walk through a museum, you’re not just looking at art. You’re moving through centuries of people trying to explain love, grief, power, beauty, and belonging.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a museum described so beautifully.

I live in Massachusetts, in a town with houses from the 1600s. Nearly every house in this state is “an older house”. There are no houses for under $100k lmao I found a $175k mobile home built in 1974 tho
Replying to @LRNROSE
Well do a quick search within a 1hr drive of your place on Zillow for homes at or under 100k right now and I'd bet you find at least 50-75. There's no need to buy a half mil $ house or even pay rent in one. People seem to be afraid to live in an older house

When my aunt was in her late 20s people used to rudely ask her "Why aren't you married yet?” and she'd reply "Just lucky, I guess" which I think is one of the best things I have ever heard

As I prepare for the 5th anniversary of my #ModusOperandiDeck, Braille booklet, and app version (via Deckible), I'm reflecting on the people and communities that have been impacted by the work. +
Hi there, Twitterverse. I made something meaningful. I hope it blesses you. theideologue.info/store 🙋🏾‍♀️🌌 #ModusOperandiDeck

The last few years have provided us with many opportunities to reconsider the ideas, motivations, and historical circumstances (personal, familial, and cultural) that got us here. I thought it was important for us to (re)consider what keeps us going and why. +
