Thought, it’s really Crescent that struggled with communication.

It wasn’t the most difficult song, but keeping the right momentum was tricky. And Crescent underestimated the piece.

Crescent removed his hands to smooth out his shirt.

Crescent greeted Nightmare once he moved into the room, his eyes trained on the music sheets.
He splayed his fingers on the keys and started the melody again. But he trips over the second line, a scowl on his face now.
Frustration is written all over his face, a heavy sigh slipping out as he adjusted the music sheets in front of him.
Seems he was trying to play a complicated song.

Crescent answered honestly as he strolled into the garden with confidence — like a young monarch should.

Nightmare asked, watching the other approach. They were spending time in the garden when their spawn pushed his way through.

Crescent tilted his skull downwards to allow Nightmare's tentacle to pat his skull, letting out a content hum before resuming his position.

It was odd. On all accords, Nightmare should’ve been angry with him – and yet he simply seemed pleased to see him again.
It made Crescent feel at peace, though his posture would convey otherwise — standing at attention,

Loyal to his Father, he trusts Nightmare completely and is ready to be the perfect son.
Relationship with Killer is strained, due to lack of interaction.
