Spotify’s sign-up form 😩 These are fundamental accessibility issues. Ignorance or negligence? Which one is it, Spotify?

Yeah, the gotcha with getComputedStyle(el) is that the style read happens on the getters of the returned object. In terms of API design it's really misleading.

That's a fun one! @justmarkup shares more valuable facts about progressive enhancement. 👏 Fun fact: you can connect any button with a form element – no matter if the button is placed in the form or not. 😲 funwithforms.com/posts/form-…

Here's the rejection letter. I love how they frame their shakedown as "offer customers the option". Not a single mention of the fact that Apple will take 15-30% of our business through this. THIS IS ALL JUST FOR THE CONSUMER GOOD, YOU SEE.

This is an iconic image. IBM-1620, which came to @IITKanpur in Jul'63 was the 1st solid-state computer in an Indian educational institution. Its arrival marked the modest beginning of India's 1st bachelor's degree program in Computer Science. Here is a short history. (1/n)
First IBM computer to enter India. Story of IIT Kanpur & computing is really interesting on how highly skilled labour couldn't find jobs in India & got forced to look abroad for opportunities, later this helped India's IT revolution. But the fact remains IITs pushed brain drain.

Starting to think web devs don't know Javascript supports for loops. Maybe we should add them in the ES11 spec.

🤘 Starting today, Notion is free for personal use. We used to have a storage limit on our free plan, but no more! Everyone should have access to our tools to create what they need. Write, plan, and get organized at notion.so/personal. notion.so/personal

After using @GitHub for a while (~4 yrs, almost daily), I can not explain my frustration having to deal with @Bitbucket (using for ~1 mo). I always admired @Atlassian, of their docs and stuff, but never thought their products suck this much. Everything is just confusing!

I’ve started using Mozilla’s multi-account containers extension to fence off Google (’s cookies) from all non-Google sites. (Basically, the same thing that Facebook Container does but for Google.) Now I should be invisible to both Google and Facebook on the rest of the web.
