It’s hard to put into words, this unspeakable tragedy, a few blocks away, where our kids went, my wife has taught, our literal community. My heart is broken, for the loss of life, those fighting to live, the survivors, the heros who prevented something worse, all the families
It’s just ridiculous that this airport’s council has reacted to a fantastic video Steve did about the Spirit airplane repossessions. He’s filmed at dozens of airports around the world with no objection over the past decade—until now. Let them know and L&S to his YT channel.
By all means, let them know! Their contact info is publicly available via Google! It’s not right! @ACY_Airport

Thinking of asking Randy Johnson to sign this today at @ExposFest
What many don’t know about this brand is that it was repped in the US by a young college track runner selling the shoes out of the trunk of his car. He and his college coach decided to make their own shoes. What they built is now the largest sports company in the world. Nike.
Once a minor sports shoe brand, Onitsuka Tiger enjoyed some popularity decades ago before being subsumed into the lineup of parent company Asics. Today, though, it is back and stronger than ever.

A prime birthday (for the 39th time)
It may be Valentine's Day, but it is also a significant day for the State of Oregon.
On February 14, 1859, President James Buchanan signed a bill that officially made Oregon the 33rd state. bit.ly/3Ma88PN
Great thread on how baggage can go so sideways in today’s travel world.
I am currently sitting in my car on a street in Glasgow, eyes fixed on the white van opposite, as I have reason to believe my golf clubs are in the back of it.
They didn’t make my flight on Sunday from Geneva to Edinburgh and since then @easyJet have been absolutely useless. Not a single reply to an email, two of the phone numbers they gave me have been disconnected and the third just rings out. The online chat (hard to tell if it’s a person or a bot) says they can’t help me until they have been missing for 6 days.
On Wednesday morning they landed in Edinburgh (about 40 minutes drive from my house). But instead of heading east to Gullane they went west. I know all of this thanks to the miracle of Apple AirTags.
They spent a day driving around Glasgow and then came to a residential street to spend the night.
Yesterday they had a huge adventure as they went all the way to Elgin in the north of Scotland. But then they came back to Glasgow.
So, I have come to stake them out. You can tell it’s my first time though as I forgot coffee and donuts.
I am hoping that a delivery man comes to open the van rather than a criminal with a taste for MacKenzie golf bags and Gen 3 PXGs…

Brendan O'Meara's depth of research and the number of interviews he completed for the book is incredible.

I drew this last November 26th knowing full well no self-respecting family newspaper in the country would be likely to print it. I was right. But given the events of this weekend, I’m gonna to let ‘er rip anyway.

You really wanna raise some serious money for charity?
Sell raffle tickets for 5 spots in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am.
Give us regular amateurs a chance to play in this event.
$100 per ticket.
Everything goes to charity.
A massive amount of money would be raised.

Just got my Oregon ballot, and Donald Trump and J.D. Vance are right there. They’re also listed in the state voters’ pamphlet, with an asterisk because they didn’t submit statements. For the love of God, stop harassing Oregon election workers. #orpol
