Have you ever had the feeling you've been to a place before, even though it's your first time visiting, and then you realize it's because of a video game location?

The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect.  Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life. This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.  Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.

I know everyone is sick of hearing about this movie, but I'm not sure I've ever seen such a fucked up and explicit mea culpa to racists than this movie, stopping dead to have Kelly Marie Tran basically look at the camera and tell it to go on without her. Genuinely evil movie lol
Rise of skywalker the funniest movie of all time. Finn spends the whole movie trying to make a confession of love, then the director said he wanted to tell her he has super powers. The hero and villain kiss at the end and then the company issued a statement that it was platonic

I genuinely — and I do mean genuinely — feel sorry for all those who could watch watch this and see it as anything less than the most perfect goodbye to Luke possible. This is what you get when a filmmaker has something to say that’s louder than what the studio has to sell.
Luke Skywalker’s stand on Crait in The Last Jedi (2017) had the whole theater locked.

This is sad. I know as a politician these companies are going to spend a billion dollars against me for saying it but 🤷🏽‍♀️ Pervasive gambling is not good for society. It turns life into a casino, traps people in addiction & debt, surges domestic violence, and fosters manipulation.

‘Iran is Not Gaza’: Acclaimed Writer Arundhati Roy Arundhati Roy stirred the audience in Gurgaon on March 9 when she spoke of the travesty of the war in West Asia, imposed by US and Israel on Iran, threatening to engulf the region, and the world.

sean penn beat madonna with a bat. but he didn't say free palestine, so variety loves him.
Sean Penn likely won’t be attending the #Oscars ceremony this year. This possibility is a blow to history and to the cause of good TV. Read the full column: wp.me/pc8uak-1lH01S

The term “preemptive” is pure propaganda. The U.S. once again used the veneer of negotiations as a cover to bomb Iran. Tehran had just offered terms that went far beyond the 2015 nuclear deal. What was preempted was diplomacy. The same propaganda tactics used in 2003 Iraq war.

One of the best pieces of advice I can give is to read Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. The animated film is magnificent, but the manga is richer and more complete. It’s a true masterpiece by Hayao Miyazaki.

All these AI slop posts with captions like "Hollywood is cooked" do indeed look objectively awful, but that's not the reason we should reject AI. Even if AI scenes did look good, it'd still be a disaster for artists, creativity, the environment, and the human mind.
