A lot of what Trump has done can be undone the minute he’s gone. THIS, however, cannot: the fact that all of America's allies now know that in any four year period, a single man can rip up all treaties, social norms, and economic partnerships.
America is no longer a country they can trust.
America is no longer a country with which long-term deals can be made.
America is no longer a country that prioritizes peace.
Most countries will likely grow their military as a result.
Most countries will likely make deals with other countries as a result.
This damage will likely take more than a generation to START to be undone, if ever.

As a father of two daughters, I’m deeply disgusted and angered by the story coming out of Cornell.
Sexual assault is a crime, not a campus disciplinary matter. New York should require allegations to be immediately referred to qualified law enforcement for an independent investigation, with a special prosecutor when appropriate.
Universities have a responsibility to protect their students and enforce their own codes of conduct, but they should not be the ones determining whether a potential crime occurred.
Any of our daughters could be Jane Doe, and they deserve better. We need to make sure that anyone who commits sexual violence, and anyone who knowingly enables or conceals it, is held accountable.

The increasingly visible intersection between MILITARY LAWYERS and the CIVILIAN FEDERAL JUSTICE SYSTEM.
We’ve documented:
⚖️ Military JAG attorneys being detailed into U.S. Attorney’s Offices as federal prosecutors.
⚖️ The expansion of that model into multiple jurisdictions.
⚖️ A federal ruling rejecting a Posse Comitatus challenge to an active-duty JAG prosecuting a civilian.
⚖️ A separate federal appeals-court ruling limiting an Article III district court’s ability to overturn a military court-martial judgment.
Then on September 30, we put everything together into one graphic showing the pattern.
The very next day, October 1, President Trump made two federal District Court nominations in North Carolina.
And look at the backgrounds he specifically chose to mention.

Trump nominated Aubart to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina and specifically highlighted that he is a member of the U.S. Army JAG Corps. Senators Thom Tillis and Ted Budd describe Aubart more precisely as an Army Reserve Major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
Then exactly 30 minutes later…
🇺🇸 12:27 PM — BRIAN MEYERS
Trump nominated Meyers to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and specifically highlighted his previous service as an attorney in the U.S. Marine Corps. Meyers served as a Marine officer and judge advocate before becoming a federal prosecutor and, later, a federal magistrate judge.
So within 30 MINUTES, Trump announced two nominees for the civilian federal bench:
ARMY JAG → FEDERAL DISTRICT COURT NOMINEE
MARINE JUDGE ADVOCATE → FEDERAL DISTRICT COURT NOMINEE
And perhaps the most interesting part:
Trump himself specifically highlighted their military legal backgrounds in BOTH announcements.
Coincidence?
Maybe.
But considering what we’ve been tracking lately…
That’s one hell of a coincidence. 👀
