It's #BlackinInorganic Wednesday! I've spent a lot of my time being #BlackInChem trying to understand how nature uses heavy metals to store, transfer, and create energy in metalloproteins. My favorite transition metal is iron because it's buried in so many cool proteins!

We are sad that we cannot host the next generation of bioinorganic chemists in June 2020 at Penn State, but are all the more excited to meet you in June 2021 at the next workshop!
Due to the ongoing health risk caused by the corona virus, we decided – in consultation with officials from The Pennsylvania State University – to postpone the 6th Penn State Bioinorganic Workshop to June 2021.
