20 years ago today I walked through the hallowed doors of 43 Conway Street in Hove to begin my first job in the bus industry. How time flies; such huge fun and so many wonderful memories.
Thanks to the team at Stagecoach West, we had a brief visit from 80003 to Northampton today to demonstrate to colleagues and stakeholders
It's the first Friday in July, so that can only mean one thing: Silverstone F1 2024. Here's hoping for a bit of sun

The sun breaking through earlier this morning in the capital and an opportunity for a flying visit to my old haunt of Waterloo garage, where I was a trainee Base Manager for the 507 and 521 routes some 17 years ago
Wonderful to be welcoming 14 new ADL E400MMCs to Northampton, of which 10 are here so far and will shortly be prepared to enter service
And so to Worthing where it has been a great pleasure to talk to the Surfleet community again this year, always such a warm welcome – at Worthing, England
A flying visit to the south coast and perhaps a chance to have a ride on one of the OmniDekkas in their final summer here after first introduction in 2003.
A trip through the archives today brings me to this, which I had totally forgotten about and which I visited in early 1996 whilst on a visit to Bradford. Sadly it didn't remain open very long
And that's it for another year at Silverstone. It is one huge, incredible team effort from colleagues both locally and from around the country that makes this weekend what it is. Thank you to them all.
