This is one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the show, you can see Wilf slowly realize. The music swell when he starts to understand, and you can see his soul break when he completely understands.
Heart shattering 💔

If you have a pacemaker, you can put it in your Will to have your pacemaker donated to a dog in need after you pass. Pacemakers cannot be donated to another human, but they can be donated to dogs with cardiac issues who would depend on it to stay alive.

We are 6 months in and these are the results we are already seeing.
Don’t let anyone distract you with false narratives of failure, they just want you to ignore the facts.
The country is already doing better under Labour and will continue to do so.

I bang on about the gladiators needing to play the games seriously and save the pantomime for in between. Tonight we saw why. Legend handed Joe 5pts on the Wall and it led to him winning on a photo finish. I'm thrilled he's through, but if I was Aman I'd be PISSED. #Gladiators

The city of #Zurich decided to work with its existing network of trams, giving them absolute priority over cars.

You can see the exact moment when #Switzerland began to think ramming highways into its cities might be a stupid idea.
This is the Autobahnstummel, the "highway stub," for a huge expressway, one of 3 that was supposed to enter heart of Zürich.

#OnThisDay 167 yrs ago, 25th Jan 1858, a train service began along the two parallel strips of iron laid from Chatham to Faversham, with Rainham, Newington, Sittingbourne and Teynham between. The world changed #OTD for every person in those towns, ever after.
So… Happy Birthday to the East Kent Railway, a surprising success story which later became the London, Chatham & Dover. This plucky company’s later extensions took routes through to Elephant, Blackfriars & up through what is now City Thameslink: much of South East London grew because of what began today. (Nice work everyone at @Se_Railway @KentCRP1 @SteveWhiteRail for what you’re doing today!))

I cannot stress this enough but:
1. There is an English 9th-tier club called West Allotment Celtic whose manager is called Gavin Hattrick
2. Last night they had a match called off because of some badly behaved geese
3. This is their response 😀
I think I love them 👏👏👏
Non league clubs like ourselves rely on match day revenue to keep the club afloat.
To help recoup some of the losses we're holding a raffle with the top prize being a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka. And anyone who buys 5 tickets gets a free t shirt.

The man in the automated message on the Manchester Civil Justice Centre phone number genuinely sounds unhinged. It only gets worse the longer you listen. Just wait for the bit about bailiffs. Who approved this???

Stared here - in silence - with a few others. Then that time travel thing happened again: like it so often does, down by a quiet Thames, when it can feel like the centuries of this city are sliding together. Here on the shore, London of now drifts off into mist, and Old London - an imagined London of ancient paintings and etchings - is suddenly real, right in front with curling woodsmoke and calling birds and then, then it is gone. And I’m not even drunk.

Good morning from London, where at 9 o’clock the low winter sun was splendid and the Thames* was calm as a millpond.
