Increasingly @proogs.bsky.social but still also dipping in here occasionally for the time being. Otherwise, I'm mostly a UK based stage lighting guy. (he/him)

Annoyed the email feedback form for @coopuk offers a prize draw entry, but then links to terms "This promotion is a monthly prize draw which ... closes on 13th June 2025". Then if I try to contact, their form forces choosing a category that's not relevant and doesn't submit. Gah.

This is one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the show, you can see Wilf slowly realize. The music swell when he starts to understand, and you can see his soul break when he completely understands. Heart shattering 💔

Cynthia Erivo just told Oprah to check under her chair at the Tonys, and she pulled out a package with a toy car in it "You get a car! I've been waiting all night to do that!"

A bit dismayed that @GoGeocaching - a global organisation - seem to refer to their HQ workers as 'lackeys': shop.geocaching.com/default/… ,which in the UK at least is a derogatory word for a belittled servant or slave. I hope the US company treats their workers well! A bit insensitive?

If you have a pacemaker, you can put it in your Will to have your pacemaker donated to a dog in need after you pass. Pacemakers cannot be donated to another human, but they can be donated to dogs with cardiac issues who would depend on it to stay alive.

Hi @Tesco - this is part of your store front at your fairly new Tesco Express in Stockport. However, they clearly don't bake goods in store! It's a good little shop in Mersey Square but isn't this a little misleading?

We are 6 months in and these are the results we are already seeing. Don’t let anyone distract you with false narratives of failure, they just want you to ignore the facts. The country is already doing better under Labour and will continue to do so.

Hi @Plusnet - where can I find your network status page please? I'm finding my (FTTP) net connection is being slightly wonky and it'd be useful to rule out (or blame) your network. Fairly sure it's not my setup but can't find any realtime info about your services. Thanks!

Hi @PizzaExpress - is there any reason why some supermarket PE pizzas have a loyalty barcode sticker and some don't? I'm not too bothered (I'm already gold) but just wondering. (PS please move to bluesky. I'm only on twitter for business interactions like this now :-( )

Very often, @BeeNetwork , when the Mancbound lift at Failsworth tram stop says it's at 0 (ground floor) and you call it, the doors will not open. It seems out of order. Can someone look please? Thanks.

I bang on about the gladiators needing to play the games seriously and save the pantomime for in between. Tonight we saw why. Legend handed Joe 5pts on the Wall and it led to him winning on a photo finish. I'm thrilled he's through, but if I was Aman I'd be PISSED. #Gladiators

The city of #Zurich decided to work with its existing network of trams, giving them absolute priority over cars.

You can see the exact moment when #Switzerland began to think ramming highways into its cities might be a stupid idea. This is the Autobahnstummel, the "highway stub," for a huge expressway, one of 3 that was supposed to enter heart of Zürich. Killed by referendum in 1973. 🇨🇭🚋🧵

Watching Michael McIntyre... Why can't camera crew dress up a bit if they're likely to be on telly themselves? In theatre we all wear blacks no matter whether we'll be seen or not. It's not a big ask to get TV crew to wear black.

#OnThisDay 167 yrs ago, 25th Jan 1858, a train service began along the two parallel strips of iron laid from Chatham to Faversham, with Rainham, Newington, Sittingbourne and Teynham between. The world changed #OTD for every person in those towns, ever after. So… Happy Birthday to the East Kent Railway, a surprising success story which later became the London, Chatham & Dover. This plucky company’s later extensions took routes through to Elephant, Blackfriars & up through what is now City Thameslink: much of South East London grew because of what began today. (Nice work everyone at @Se_Railway @KentCRP1 @SteveWhiteRail for what you’re doing today!))
