Syria’s next generation is being taught a radically different ideology.
A new IMPACT-se report examining 130 school textbooks under the al-Sharaa (Jolani) administration finds a sweeping shift from Arab nationalism toward Islamism.
Syrian Textbooks now glorify jihad, martyrdom and violence, with such material appearing as early as 4th grade.

Today is the official release date for my new book, First Among Equals: Visions of Equality before Egalitarianism (Belknap, 2026).
It explores how and why “equality” became, rather suddenly, a basis on which ordinary men and women could make political demands in early modern England.

I've read a few descriptions of the LLM token expenditure index and what it *really* shows. This is one of the better articles. Can't we just rename it? giftarticle.ft.com/giftartic…

👉🏻 Deputy Leader of Rochdale Council reportedly arrested in Pakistan for domestic terriosm:
Daalat Ali has been reportedly classified as a domestic terrorist in Pakistan and has been reportedly arrested by Pakistani authorities while entering Pakistan. As per reports I'm hearing, he's been accused of encouraging separatist terrorism in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and his social media is being scanned for pro terrorism material.
This requires official confirmation from British and Pakistani authorities.
Putin, Musk, and Trump caused this.

France has literally recognized a Palestinian state, banned Smotrich and Ben-Gvir from entering the country, provided over €345 million in humanitarian aid to Palestinians since 2023, supported sanctions against Israeli settlers, and led international efforts for Palestinian statehood. Macron has even publicly opposed the U.S.-Israeli military campaign against Iran. What more, exactly, is France supposed to do? Anti-Zionism once again a trojan horse to destroy the sovereignty of Western countries.
BRIAN KILMEADE: "Did you see the Palestinian flags? What does it have to do with the school curriculum, or lack of teachers, or the days being too long?"
REP. RO KHANNA: "There are many people—young people—who are upset about what happened in Gaza. And that's not just immigrants. That's many people who grew up in France, including immigrants."
BRIAN KILMEADE: "So you burn a 200-year-old building because you don't like what's happening in Gaza?"

Reminder that it was never really about Netanyahu—the anti-Israel push won’t end even if he’s voted out.

Reports of China-linked transnational repression targeting people in Australia are deeply concerning. As Australia’s close security partner, the U.S. stands with Australians in defending individual freedoms, national sovereignty, and the right to live free from intimidation – in their own country. These shared values are central to our alliance: news.com.au/national/crime/e…

What should be done with a foreign man who has been a 'hardened terrorist' since he was 16, was a member of the group which beheaded Briton Ken Bigley, and went on to join an Isis unit which conducted stonings, beheadings and mass executions? A normal country would deport or permanently jail him.
If he was back in the Middle East, he'd be hanged. But in the UK, when this man, the Iraqi Mohammed Yaseen, arrived illegally (leaving Germany after serving a sentence for his Isis membership), we locked him up for six months and then set him free.
Despite a British court being told that Yaseen poses 'a danger to the whole of the UK', he has applied for asylum and it is being reported that our own Foreign Office 'has raised concerns' that he could face 'mistreatment' if he's returned to Iraq.
'Mistreatment' because he's a terrorist, you understand. Yaseen's asylum claim will be funded by British taxpayers, as will all the legal aid he receives.
