The only way I would support just keeping these people in prison, alive, is to slash rehabilitation programmes and have them work and produce enough value in their labour to at least pay for the cost it takes to keep them alive in prison.

I simply morally prioritise ending the lives of these monsters. Taxpayer funds should not be wasted keeping threats to society alive while they live the rest of their lives in prison. Some victims may not step forward knowing their abuser will die, but I’m willing to accept that.
