We don’t need more provincial interference in our city.
Brad Bradford wants to hand control of our water to the Province and open the door to privatization.
Control of our drinking water needs to stay in Toronto's hands.

I know that we can count on Olivia to stand up for people, and their human rights and their dignity and wellbeing. It's so important that everyone gets out to vote on Monday October 26th Olivia. Or we could get stuck with a mayor we do not want and cannot afford. Brad Bradford will say anything to get elected. He flip flops. He cant be counted on. We can't trust him. We know who @oliviachow Chow is. So please make sure you go and vote for Olivia. A Mayor we can trust.

I’m proud to have the endorsement of Kathleen Wynne, the 25th Premier of Ontario.
As Kathleen says, we come from different political traditions but we share a value system. We both believe that government exists to lift people up and to help them do the things they cannot do themselves.
This election is a choice between moving forward together to make our city more caring, or going backwards with cuts to the services families depend on. Kathleen is a leader that has always stood up for families, and I am committed to building a city that works for everyone.
What’s Brad Math? Making costly promises without saying how you’ll pay for them.
Gord Perks breaks down Brad’s math ⤵️ Paying for his promises would take at least a 13.5% property tax increase, massive cuts to services, or selling assets (ie privatizing our water). Or all three.

Bros of a feather.
Delighted to meet up with my friend Counsellor @BradMBradford who represented us the Beaches-E York when we lived in @Toronto
A family person who is cares deeply for his community. I view him as a strong public servant, informed, approachable, proactive & effective. A fmr city planner who has campaigned on addressing the big issues of crime, congestion and cost. He is a man with a plan & get it done type of guy, a consensus builder, ethical & hardworking. He knows the city can & should be so much better. IMHO he will be an outstanding Mayor.

A legal expert looked at Brad Bradford's plan to give up control of Toronto's drinking water and open the door to privatization. Here's what they found 👇

Mayor Chow opened the first Dunn House and I believe her that more are to come. That’s leadership with a record.
We’re building more supportive housing — with Dunn House 3, 4, and 5.
I was proud to stand with Minister Gregor Robertson, Build Canada Homes CEO Ana Bailao and UHN Dr. Andrew Boozary to announce this funding for these new homes.
We’re building more housing together, bringing people safe inside, and into stable living.

Every year, Olivia Chow has done a line-by-line review to find savings.
Brad Bradford has been clear: he wants to repeat what happened in 2011. Putting big cuts to libraries, affordable housing and other public services on the table.
We can't risk going backwards.

Brad Bradford failed renters in his ward.
He refused to meet with his own constituents and help them take on one of Toronto’s worst landlords.
Olivia Chow stepped in, the landlord went to jail, and was charged for the work to repair the building. Just ask the renters 👇

8 years of @BradMBradford & all I got was a rusted balcony guard at 500 Dawes.
I recall the discussions I had with Bradford about 500 Dawes. He had no interest in utilizing the City's remedial action powers & spoke highly of the 20k in fines the City imposed at that time.

ICYMI, Brad: Olivia Chow joined the federal government and UHN earlier this month to announce that we're building Dunn House 3, 4, and 5.
Dunn House, Canada’s first social medicine housing initiative, proved the potential of housing prescribed as health care. Time to scale our impact.
Alongside @BuildCanHomes, @CityofToronto, @_CreateTO, @uhnfoundation, we're announcing three additional supportive and transitional housing developments.

Toronto’s water belongs to the people of Toronto.
New polling shows 60% of Torontonians are concerned about the potential privatization of Toronto Water.
Our members work around the clock to deliver safe, clean drinking water to our city. That responsibility should never be put at risk.
Public water. Public accountability. Public trust.
Toronto’s water is not for sale. 💧

Not all Brad supporters are MAGA.
But Brad has a massive following among far-right influencers, comedians and commentators, like Ben Bankas, Ezra Levant and Turning Point Canada — a clear indication that his campaign is embracing elements of right wing populism. #topoli
The "impressive" people endorsing Brad ⤵️
Why does Brad attract support from the far-right and MAGA?
The endorsements that both candidates are getting paint a picture of how they would run the city.
Brad Bradford has a much more impressive list of people endorsing him for the top job at Toronto city hall.

My latest column includes a notable fact check for a Bradford attack line: It is, in fact, quite common for mayors to delegate their seat on the police board. Every mayor since amalgamation has done it at one time or another.

It’s wild that Brad Bradford vehemently opposed giving water to homeless people during a heat wave and now he wants to give control of Toronto’s water away forever to the highest bidder
