Same goes for thinking you're really pro women's right while you vote for devout Christians into political office.
you really can’t be pro women’s rights and also support devout muslims in political office i fear

Because she said we should not think in β€œMuslim = bad”? But when foreigners judge and deny all Nigerians access, based on crimes committed in their countries by few Nigerians, we can see how judging the many by the crimes of the few is #notgood But now, you can't? #unanogood

Is breadwinning a function of wealth or that of (financial) responsibility? Please, have pity on your brain and engage in more thought.

Writing is, among other things, my attempt to give form to things that resist being contained. I write about home, about bodies, about longing, about the strange ways people survive themselves. Sometimes I think I am trying to understand the universe.

Twitter folks when you tell them you can explicitly disagree with the tenets of Islam without seeing every Muslim as a potential terrorist

Actually, she does. Her views on a lot of issues are more consistent than any of you lot's, and they're usually quite simple too. So it's frankly embarrassing to watch people lose their minds over them, because it shows how thick they are.

If you say you drink vodka, I have no reason to believe you don’t. If you say you drink vodka but insist that you don’t consume alcohol, then I can reasonably conclude that you do, in fact, consume alcohol. And it is the same principle at play here. I don’t need to invent your motivation because you have already volunteered it yourself when you said, β€œI hold contempt for poor people because they are cruel.” β€œI hold contempt for poor people…” This is you stating your own feelings. I can take that as fact because na you know your mind. β€œβ€¦because they are cruel.” This is where your personal conviction is no longer enough. You are making a claim about an entire group of people, and that claim requires evidence. And since you have presented that claim without evidence, anyone is perfectly justified in rejecting it without providing evidence of their own. The burden of proof rests with the person making the claim. So, when we separate what you have told us about yourself from what you have claimed about other people, the only thing we can reasonably accept as fact is that you hold contempt for poor people. Everything else is an unsubstantiated justification for that contempt.

lol the level of popularity being the reasoning behind the difference in energy between the Tyla and black coffee situation is a sign of being an olodo. He is literally the biggest SA dj and a Grammy award winner, what’s good for Tyla is good for him.
Tyla can’t come to Lagos but Yayyyyy Black Coffee. Nigerians can’t fool me with their selective outrage.

It's a homophobic thing to even think of in the first place. Why are you surprised there are so many gay people? Should gay people also be surprised that there are so many straight people? Because I don't understand you straights. You people don't even understand homophobia
