Hi everyone, I'm Marwa, founder of Sunflower robotics @SunflowerRobo.
The thing I can't stop thinking about: how much intelligence you can engineer into structure itself. Not sensors, not motors...geometry.
We build compliant lattice structures that redistribute load passively. No actuators, no power, no electronics. The intelligence lives in the shape.
It started in diabetic footcare, passively protecting a foot that's lost sensation, but the same geometry becomes a soft layer between robots and the physical world: the interface where a machine meets the ground, an object, a surface. One capability, many bodies.
Most of the field adds complexity: more sensing, more compute, more parts. I'm interested in the opposite question, what's the least complexity that gets the job done?
Would love to connect with anyone thinking about compliant mechanisms, physical intelligence, or contact. Always up to trade ideas.

Thanks Zécca for the invite! Greetings, all!
My name is Zach. I'm the founder of @GamersOutreach, a nonprofit that has spent 20 years bringing therapeutic entertainment to children's hospitals and now reaches between 5 - 8 million patients annually across 500+ facilities.
I'm currently working on a new company based on my learnings in hospitals.
Would love to connect if you have interest in healthcare, particularly around the topic of modernizing the patient experience.
Cheers!
