I'm hoping that using @polyglossapp will help with composing on the fly. But I still get a lot of help from google translate to find what I actually want to say.
It has written and spoken options to swap messages on some topic.

My Korean is very basic, but recently for multiple language learning I use Polygloss app. You need to guess the image other person describe and describe yours for the other person to guess. More matches unlock new topics. Native speakers can correct your mistakes.

If you already know French but are rusty, I really recommend @polyglossapp . It doesn’t teach you, but prompts you to read and write so you get back into the swing of things. The sentences you have to read are written by a mix of real learners and native speakers

@polyglossapp I'm not sure how long it has been there, but the translation help on the ellipsis (3 dots) is a very helpful feature. Definitely saves dropping the app when returning from GT app.
