This button doesn’t send any keystrokes to my Mac. It only opens and closes the microphone signal. Codex built a small native Mac app for me. It detects that change and turns it into Push to Talk for VoiceInk. Press, speak, release, and the text appears in any Mac app. It’s the best way I’ve found to interact with my computer. With a microphone close to my mouth, I can whisper to my Mac without disturbing the people around me.

Here is my theory how the major incident - a so called blackout - occurred at 12:30 CET today in the power system of Spain & Portugal: 1/n

xAI needs to release a Grok desktop companion as soon as possible. Relying solely on the web version limits its usability. I use ChatGPT and Claude more often than Grok because I can launch them quickly with a keyboard shortcut. Since Grok is browser-only, it gets lost among all the open tabs. On top of that, ChatGPT already has a desktop app that can even interact with other applications on the computer. That’s a big step toward a more useful, agentic AI, one that can actually perform tasks on the computer instead of just answering our questions. Grok 3 has brains, style, and serious potential. All it needs now is a proper place on the desktop to shine. This model deserves more than being just another tab.

Forget Deepseek. China ManusAI has reached a breakthrough world first autonomous ai agent for making interactive websites, deep stock analysis, deep real estate analysis and broadly useful and powerful capabilities. Huge Job and business impacts incoming. Especially with loads of competitors. They only needed about $10 million in funding to do this. @RandyWKirk1 @WR4NYGov @TeslaBoomerMama @herbertong @SawyerMerritt
I got access to ManusAI and it’s mind blowing good. I do not get paid for promotion. I just tried preview access and it outperformed OpenAI’s DeepReseach by a lot! Mind blowing xitter.cf/jenzhuscott/status/189…

Frustrated that AI gives everyone access to the skills you spent years mastering? Think of all the skills you now have after barely scratching the surface. You used to be a great writer and a lousy programmer—now you're brilliant at both. Celebrate it!

Anthropic (@AnthropicAI) just announced a game-changer for their API: Prompt caching. Think of prompt caching like this: You're at a coffee shop. The first time you visit, you need to tell the barista your whole order. But next time? Just say "the usual." That's prompt caching. Here's why it's a big deal... It makes it cheaper and faster to call any large prompt components that you reference over and over again. Specifically? Up to 90% cost reduction. 85% faster responses. Use cases are wild. Think: •Cheap conversations with chatbots that have encyclopedic knowledge •Coding assistants that can efficiently read your entire codebase •AI that can discuss entire books at crazy low latencies and costs It means a bunch of AI-powered apps that were previously too expensive to run just became viable.

Daisley: "It was clear from my eight years at the platform that there is something lost in translation between British interpretations of free speech and the arguments parroted by those who adopt a US libertarian interpretation of the concept." Right - that difference in "interpretations" would be the First Amendment, which the US Constitution included specifically to protect citizens from the sort of oppressive, heavy-handed oppression colonials experienced at the hands of the British gov't, but which you (as a Brit) seem perfectly fine with.

Dear Mr. @thierrybreton, when Twitter (prior to Elon purchasing it) was banning people for discussing the COVID vaccine, the lab leak theory, and/or the Hunter Biden laptop, did you send a similar letter to Jack Dorsey? I'm Jewish with a deeply problematic childhood in Lebanon, and I support the right of Holocaust deniers to spew their most offensive nonsense. Freedom of speech is everything. Freedom of speech is deontological. You don't get to decide who speaks to whom and about what. Short of a DIRECT and clear incitement to violence and defamation, there is no BUT regarding freedom of speech. You are a grotesque imbecile who understands nothing about the foundational values of a free society. - Gad Saad, an escapee from the non-free Middle East
With great audience comes greater responsibility #DSA As there is a risk of amplification of potentially harmful content in 🇪🇺 in connection with events with major audience around the world, I sent this letter to @elonmusk 📧⤵️

Do you think Elon Musk uses a Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) system? Where do you imagine he stores the vast network of his knowledge, ideas, and core principles that he uses hat he uses to reason and innovate? Can you imagine if he used TheBrain for this? 🤯@HarlanHugh
