Can you believe it's been a year since @playvariance went live on Somnia?
And what a year it has been 💛
Share your favorite Variance memory, let's make them feel special!
.@playvariance joins the Somnia Ecosystem
The first anime roguelike RPG powered by Web3 ownership, live-service depth, and gacha-style progression.
Built by veterans from Pokémon GO, Axie, and Realm, and now launching inside Somnia.
This is roguelike chaos meets digital ownership.
And yes, gameplay kicks off tomorrow. Are you ready to dive in? 👀
Wow, insane luck for @DustStormGG!
He has pulled not one, but THREE Void Lotuses.
These ultra rare items will allow players to unlock ultimate skills for new characters in the beta... sounds bullish!
Try variance now at playvariance.com/play
Maybe you'll pull one ;)
After conquering @playvariance's challenge mode yesterday I realized I had 15 lootboxes saved up. I just opened them to be rewarded with my 3rd Mythical Void Lotus!🪷
At a 0.25% drop rate it's the rarest material in the game and will soon be used to unlock ultimate abilities!💪
Have you seen this gameplay video from one of Variance's top players and absolute chad @0xHeijin ?
It's not just a fun watch that highlights the super slick combat in Variance, its a masterclass for any players looking to improve their score.
Gameplay from a few stages + Boss Astrid. A few misclicks and some unnecessary damage taken, but it happens :D

Powered by Somnia, the Agentic L1.
Most chains treat agents like NPCs: scripted, external, called in when the plot needs them. Somnia just gave them player status of our favorite kind: deterministic, like our Void Protocol
We already have some interesting ideas to build on top of it
GG! 🎮
Building is full steam ahead on the Variance beta client which will feature mobile support & multiplayer.

Somnia is our home chain. Everything we're shipping lives on their infrastructure.
@0xPaulThomas built this thing from the ground up through mainnet - now he's got a leadership bench around him with deep distributed systems experience, two decades of gaming marketing, and enterprise-scale ops. That's the ground getting more solid under everything we're building.
Rise into legend! 💛
