Coming around to the idea that IP will move onchain. IP is valuable but current IP owners are getting crushed. Moving onchain could: - create programmable licensing - better revenue distributions (real time, automated, etc) - easier collabs between creators - global system instead of jurisdictional system - financialize the IP That's not to mention what it would do for AI: - let AI agents collaborate on IP - integrate AI agents into creative process - train models on the IP I'm not deep enough into the AI world to know if this actually makes sense but it feels inevitable that AI needs to train on IP for more data. But there's no good way to do this. It's all manual one-to-one deals. Someone will build a platform for this and I doubt it'll be an web2 saas business running on trad rails. It should be someone like Story (see Stability AI partnership today) or someone else building onchain.

I had great time at Token 2049 and I’m super hyped for what’s coming next! Sentiment around crypto gaming was polarized; most people saying we haven’t had a proper gaming szn yet, while a few thought we already did. But the general consensus? Gaming is the vertical best positioned to onboard the masses into Web3. It was a killer opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet some amazing new people. @GiulioXdotEth absolutely smashing it with more than 7 hosted events packed with top-tier builders. @SinjinDavidJung is an icon just being around him is pure energy. @JonHook this guy is wild! The day after his fight, he’s out here hitting meetings like nothing happened. @SamSteffanina going around like an Easter bunny, bringing degens into gaming one Tamagotchi at a time. @gabusch dropping knowledge on community and Web3 with that very own charismatic style. @meta_alchemist his vision of Web3 gaming is fire. Another OG who’s deeply invested in making this industry thrive. @HeyJeremyHorn taking a balanced approach to Web3, building the next wave of games. @mike_mrkite a true supporter and builder in the space. So bullish on what he’s creating. @SoeHaghighi grinding hard on her vision for an interoperable ecosystem and gamified experiences. @xdereklau shipping at lightning speed, collecting data and insights that put him way ahead of the curve. @remipel his vision for IP, art, anime, and gaming is one to watch closely. @ZaraZamanii and I share a similar background with multiple successful Web2 launches, now pushing the limits of Web3 together. Excited to be building alongside her. @TheNPCEO tackling one of the toughest challenges in the industry with his performance marketing approach. @paytkaleiwahea only met him briefly, but he’s clearly one of the hardest working and most committed people in the space. @Hantao my guy is building something epic, backed by the best. He’s the real deal. @RealCoreyWilton fresh off his past successes and still in the trenches, locked in full founder mode. @yoitsOG and @louisregis two of the boldest people I know in the industry. They’re trendsetters, and I can see them becoming thought leaders in Web3 gaming. So many other incredible folks made this experience unforgettable! @CryptoPareh We all know if two Antonios stick together, great things happen 😂. @huntersolaire_ with a deep understanding of the space and killer educational content. @annas_AoE and her top of line events and style @0x_jonny who, by chance, was sitting next to me on my flight to Tokyo. We had some deep convos about community and NFTs. Oh, and @0xlevi with dripping style! @pukerrainbrow his commitment to the crypto industry is inspiring @nftbawsa and his Twitter Spaces, always packed with quality insights.
