#safegessner For reconstructed Gessner from Westheimer to Richmond, COH plans to convert from 4 to 6 lanes even though traffic is declining. This will cost more $ to make it more dangerous in the face of stagnant traffic volumes.

Annual statistics will have some stochastic variation. However it is safe to say that the increased enforcement safety strategy announced early in the year has not reduced Houston’s road casualties.

@HoustonChron "under the new plan, tree and roadway preservation priorities replaced the previous goals: ...removing more trees."
Removing trees was NOT a goal of the original plan, it was a tradeoff for the goal of safety.

Final update.24 hrs after emailing the CEO of @FirstAmWarranty I was offered a new dryer or the cash value. We’ve taken the cash and are buying a new dryer. I can’t recommend FAHW based on this experience. Thank you to so many people for your support, especially @LeahBartonKim.
YOTA has ordered another part and will schedule a visit when it’s arrived. No recognition that they’ve resolved 4 parts with no luck, but #5 will be different? Oh yeah, part ETA was 10/3. Today is 10/6 and no word from @FirstAmWarranty or YOTA.

@FirstAmWarranty your motto is: We Repair or We Replace but that’s not the full story is it? I submitted service request 313922565 for our broken dryer in July. Since then, you’ve had YOTA Appliance Repair (yotahomeservice.com) out 6 times to try to fix it.
Update: @FirstAmWarranty asked to connect with me privately. Their private response was to assign me a new representative who has not called me. When I reached out, they gave the same response as the last 9 weeks:
