I’m not sure any manager appointment would be particularly inspiring among those interested in the job. That said, if the job description is to come in, keep the tactics and culture the same, and basically do what has worked for GA then Duff seems to fit that bill. #bcafc

The only thing left for Manchester City and Abu Dhabi is to gaslight, threaten and continue with their legal warfare. They are in so deep now with the denials it’s too late to change course. Don’t back down, double down and then lash out at everyone when you known you’ve been backed into a corner. Hence the reported threat to pull investment out of the UK and the exertion of state to state pressure. It’s desperate stuff

It's a strange feeling having your manager poached. The first time in my City supporting life... At the moment, I have competing emotions. Thankful for the memories, and bitter that he walked out on us and everything we built specifically for him. I'm a realist, people leave jobs all the time. But for now, bitterness wins. I hope that changes. I want to be able to remember Graham and Chris as the duo who brought us amazing memories, not as people who couldn't jump fast enough when the opportunity came. Will we look back on today as the moment we stepped it up another gear, or the peak of the cycle? Only time will tell... #bcafc

It’s been a hard few years but I’m proud to be a Detroit Tigers fan today. JV made his Tigers debut 3 months before I moved to Detroit. The 2006 against all odds run to the World Series my first full season. So many of my formative memories of life in the US were based around those years of Tigers success, anchored around JV and Miggy. I’m so happy he was able to retire a Tiger. I’m not sure we’ll ever see another like him.

Cadbury in the US is made by Hershey. It has been since 1988, under license, with Hershey's own recipe. The first ingredient in a British Dairy Milk is milk. The first ingredient in the American one is sugar. The American bar also has PGPR and soy lecithin in it, emulsifiers that stretch shelf life. In 2015 Hershey sued the largest importer of British candy in the country. They settled, and the settlement cut off British made Cadbury, along with UK KitKats, Yorkies, Toffee Crisps and Maltesers. The wrapper looks the same, but the bar is certainly not, and since 2015 the real one is hard to find here.
