I'm #PhDone! So incredibly thankful for everyone at the Schultz lab, Clinical Data Mining, @GSKGradSchool @CompOncMSK for your amazing support during the past years. It took a village to get here - I could not have done it without you!
Congratulations to GSK PhD student @phoscience in the lab of Nikolaus Schultz, for defending her thesis entitled "Methods For Clinical Feature Abstraction and Driver Mutation Annotations Improve Utility of Real-World Cancer Data"

It took me a long time but I finally learned how to focus only on things that I can control, such as my mental health and the number of fixed effects I can add to my regression. – at Falcon Heights, MN

I am very excited to present to you my last paper from @ClaudeDesplan's lab. A fun collaboration with @tonymrossi that started many years ago, when we were trying to find ways to identify all transcription factors in the temporal series of the medulla neuroblasts.

When I grow up, I'd wanna be like Claude. He's smart, funny, inspiring, and by making time for me when I was a lowly undergrad, he convinced me that a career in science would be the best career. Thank you, Claude. dev.biologists.org/content/1…

My Master's thesis is now published! I laughed, cried and almost quitted along the way, but I had the best mentors to keep me going. Thank you @garybader1 and everyone in the Bader lab esp. @PatternsNGames @InnesBrendanT - this could never happen without you.

Many biologists are interested in how well RNA and protein expression correlate. We confirmed that they have middling correlation on average (~0.5). But the scope of these data let us ask this on a per-gene level across many tissue lineages. (3/13)

Still in awe that our time-series scRNAseq method Tempora (named after Cicero's "O tempora o mores" and *not* the UK's secret surveillance system) came together. Any feedback would be appreciated!
