Just shipped Jacked.
It's an AI strength coach for iPhone. Type "10 x 140" between sets — it logs the rep, compares to your last session, tells you what to do
Most fitness apps log your workouts. This one actually coaches them.

🚀 AWS just dropped AWS Blocks
A new open-source TypeScript framework that changes how we build full-stack apps on AWS.
Write once in TS → run locally in seconds → deploy to real AWS with zero changes.
No more heavy infra setup just to test auth + DB + realtime.
This one’s big.
Core Idea: Pre-built, composable Blocks (20+ ready modules) that are fully type-safe.
- Database (PGlite local → Postgres prod)
- Auth (email, social, SSO)
- Realtime (WebSockets)
- File Storage (S3-like)
- Async/Cron Jobs
- AI Agents + KnowledgeBase (Ollama local → Bedrock)
- Observability, Email, and more
All composable and progressively customizable down to raw CDK.
What it solves:
- Painfully slow local dev loops on AWS
- "Works on my machine" → prod drift
- Massive boilerplate & context switching
- Type safety nightmares between layers
- Friction when building AI/agent workflows
Basically brings Next.js/Vercel-style DX to AWS backends.
Getting started (literally seconds):
npm create @ aws-blocks/blocks-app@latest my-app
cd my-app
npm run dev
Local full-stack environment instantly. Deploy when ready.
Just announced in public preview (June 16, 2026). Perfect for solo devs, teams, and AI-augmented building.
If you’re doing DevOps, backend, or agentic workflows this deserves a look.

A good breakdown of containers and microVM landscape - emirb.github.io/blog/microvm…. I've been out of the Kube land for a bit, are people running workloads on MicroVMs? Seems no different from the ECS vs. Lambda decision that many make on AWS.

The last couple weeks were busy for the Kiro team, with 35 updates shipped in the changelog. The two big ones I'm most excited about:
1) Kiro Web preview
- Autonomous agent mode
- Cloud sandboxes
- Direct integration with GitHub
2) New ways to practice spec-driven development
- New Quick Plan mode
- New spec analysis that catches logical inconsistencies, ambiguities, and conflicting constraints

Ahh I have been so excited about the new AWS Agent Toolkit and it's finally here and I can talk about it!
🚀 40+ skills
🚀 3 agent plugins
🚀 Remote MCP server that agents can use to call all 15,000+ AWS APIs + run scripts, search docs, retrieve skills

If you're using @claudeai Code (CLI) and not using code.claude.com/docs/en/full… try it. /tui fullscreen isn't full screen but it does take over your terminal for improved UX
Been using code.claude.com/docs/en/full… with cmux/ghostty and I'm a fan. type /tui fullscreen to switch and /tui default to switch back to standard. @claudeai
The "MCP is dead, use SDKs + CLIs" take is right for full coding agents.
But heard a reframe recently that clicked: MCP is a scope-down.
An agent with bash and an SDK can do anything. An agent with an MCP server can only do what you exposed.
Stack: React Native, AWS Bedrock (Claude Haiku 4.5).
Built solo over ~60 days, 1000 commits. Happy to answer questions.
Anyone know of good AI marketing plugins (prompts, skills, etc) for @claudeai code?
Looking to improve copy for onboarding and website/app
Anyone know of an agent/skills package manager? Should work with popular coding agents (Claude, Codex, Kirk) I see this as being imperative for teams to reach level 2 AI fluency … whatever that means :)
Awesome news from #AWSreInvent! Frontier agents—autonomous AI revolutionizing software development! 🎯
Kiro handles coding independently. AWS Security Agent runs penetration testing. AWS DevOps Agent triages incidents. Details: bit.ly/4pfNWu4
Proud of the AWS Transform Custom team. It was cool to see AWS create a literal explosion for an agentic product we built in just 7 months!
"Tech debt,” or the time organizations spend on manual modernization work can really slow down innovation. Now with new agentic AI capabilities in AWS Transform, customers can accelerate rapid, large-scale modernizations for all legacy systems across any software, code, library, and framework.
What does this look like in practice? Air Canada modernized thousands of Lambda functions in days, not months. QAD is saving 7,500 developer hours annually. Thomson Reuters cut costs by 30% while migrating 1.5M lines of code per month. Across @awscloud, customers have used Transform to analyze an estimated 1.1 billion lines of code and save more than 810,000 hours of manual effort. Get the details here: aboutamazon.com/news/aws/aws…
Here is a literal example of us crushing the technical debt (more like blowing up 🙂 ).
