Calling all Apple workers and patrons!
Tomorrow, December 24th, 2021, Apple workers are staging a walkout/callout to demand better working conditions.
Strike funds are available for participants: coworkerfund.org/netflixappl….
Don't cross the picket line.
#AppleWalkout 🖤✊

ALT Don't cross the picket line. We are Apple. We deserve a respectful workplace. We deserve paid sick time. We deserve protection on the frontlines. We deserve proper mental healthcare. Demand that Apple upholds its image with your wallet. Don’t shop in stores. Don’t shop online. #AppleWalkout December 24, 2021.

I am sad and fearful for people in Texas today. #SB8 is a massive overreach by the state into the lives and autonomy anyone with a uterus.
SCOTUS' failure to intervene also highlights how useless conservative leaders are at serving anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Software engineers that are against unions because they are paid well is the weirdest thing.
“I don’t need a union because I make 200k.”
Ok, that’s why you aren’t making 250k and your CEO is selling services to ICE.

We're Alphabet workers. We’ve been organizing for over a year, & we’re finally ready to share why.
This morning, we're announcing #AWU, the first union open to *all* workers at any Alphabet company.
Every worker deserves a union—including tech workers.

I have health care
I still want you to have M4A
I paid off my student loan
I still want you to have free tuition
I make a decent living
I still want you to make MORE than $15/hr
Everyone one should want a healthy planet for the next generation
This is called social responsibility

A good rule of thumb is that successful women in tech (and other underrepresented groups) are better than many of the men – even the successful men. This is because of the "selection effect" of over-coming all that discrimination.
Men afraid of that are pretty weak.

Facts like this suggest that @SpeakerPelosi has some explaining to do—but it’s been 33 years since she showed up for a debate.
Would you like @sfchronicle @CNN or @KQED to host a moderated debate to highlight the differences between the choices before San Francisco?

The coronavirus stimulus package carved out $135,000,000,000 in tax breaks for millionaires.
That's *three times* as much money as was included for emergency housing and food relief.
When I say we have socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for the rest, this is what I mean.
