Here is what India needs to win My perspective can sound urban and top x%, but I really think that x% will drive the rest forward- 1. Fear of punishment: Dont confuse the desire for ‘fear of punishment’ with ‘authoritarianism’. Thats a stupid position. You want people to have fear of law. And law must apply equally. Indian DNA + Chinese Authoritarianism = infinite babudom. You want people to have fear of policing and judiciary. Not self serving dictators with no limits to power. 2. Hygiene Get your act together. Aesthetics >>> In real life, aesthetics matter more than substance. Substance finds aesthetic. The pursuit of aesthetic produces substance. There is no country of god with all this trash on the street. 3. Double down on Manufacturing The world is racing towards anti-globalisation. At least ideologically if not economically. Build supply chain. Build factory parks. In-house hardware, and hardware is the base for all technology. Will require fear of punishment and stronger property law. 4. Innovation The sad reality of a caste sliced, religion sliced, language sliced polity is that there are infinite lowest common denominators to appeal to. Each for their own cause. Notice: Nothing from government and politics in India suggests ‘innovation’. Not the people, not their speeches, not their websites, not their services. Its because voting is a lowest common denominator project, and India is ripe with LCDs.

Bottomline: Global TFR falls, Rich populations refuse service jobs, rich nations forcefully mass immigrate poorer, larger populations like India, Africa, Asia, Middle East. More race hate and monetised twitter rage baits.
