It’s older than that but also it’s “you don’t get to interact with my wincon with zero cost to myself” which is honestly just so annoying. Half the decks that have used it traditionally are glued together by this card
The whole movie is a meta commentary on how easy it is to manipulate the viewer which is like half of his content anyway

Drake gotta start calling out to the refs from time to time man. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes instantly know where the refs are when they get hit
If you think Critical Roll increased viewership for normies, I’ve got terrible news for you. It was popular among nerds who thought they weren’t nerds
Critical Roll.
Bing Bang Theory is, mostly, for normies to go, "look at them nerds!" in the same way Will and Grace was there for normies to say, "lmao look at them gays!" The cultural shit is thrown in haphazardly for color.
Critical Roll is a bunch of actors playing what was previously the loser introvert game for nerd boys who got bullied in school for being loser introvert nerd boys. They hammed it up and made it more free flowing with an emphasis on larp over crunch and it led to normies getting into it during Covid. Those few who remained after the culture shock that D&D tends to involve quite a bit of theory crafting and build making ultimately pushed for that same Critical Roll experience and the trimming down of the grit in world building.
It isn't exactly shocking that the Critical Role TTRPG will match this "low crunch" and "low rolling" aesthetic, which isn't exactly a problem unto itself, but rather a sign that the Covid tourists should have considered a look at the thousand and one pre-existing TTRPG's that would have fit their desire. You know, before pushing to not have to roll to save so their "Be gay do crimes" tiefling didn't die due to their shenanigans.
“So how’s the friendship with Joe Mazzulla going?”

Extremism and it’s some dude who wants prices lower. We deserve fascism.
For me, the only dignified choice is to leave the Senate race blank—an undervote representing a rejection of ideological absolutism. This makes me no less a Democrat. I refuse to be complicit in excusing or accepting extremism to beat extremism. The madness has to stop somewhere.

He runs though you. I wanna see if he’s the type of dude who gets better the longer he plays they need to give him the ball early
Very interesting to see the Patriots leaning on RB Corey Kiner over Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson late in a one-score game.
They obviously trust him after last week's fumble.
Here's what Mike Vrabel said about just that on Friday:
"We all have to take care of the ball, but Corey did a lot of really good things, so there's a high confidence. Nobody notices or really talks about the guy that comes back into the gap and hammers the ball out. You guys always fail to mention that. You guys always just put it on the guy who has the ball. We all share in that, and we'll be better. But I like the way Corey runs. Yes, he does have to hang onto the ball, and we've got to do a better job of protecting the guy and keeping people away from him."
