The President of the United States taking the piss out of a mentally ill man who died just a couple of days before. Frankly, I expected nothing less from this sociopathic arsehole.

The BBC & the National are holding firm with their stories but otherwise, silence. It’s not about Dr Salem’s guilt - that’s for the courts to decide, she’s pled not guilty. It’s the cover up. Compare to coverage of #JasonArday, accused of no more than exaggerating.

Rivals will hate on him, but he's absolutely correct, City players seem to carry less morals and principles.

Gerrard on the Overlap Daily: “I spoke to a few people high up at Liverpool (at Anfield on Sunday) and I couldn’t help but say to them: ‘If this was us, I don’t think I could speak to you face to face.’ “If this was Liverpool and the Champions League final, the best night of my life, or the FA Cup final in 2006.… If this was Liverpool and they tainted or tarnished those memories, I couldn’t speak to those owners ever again.” nytimes.com/athletic/7685966…

The fact that the PGMOL as they were then went in to use the picture in their website as an example of serious foul play was telling. Webb bullshits his way through this and isn’t challenged.

🚶 Getting to the Stadium 🚶 Supporters can walk from the city centre to the stadium in approx 30mins. On the route map, red indicates the LASK supporters’ route. On the map, blue indicates the LFC supporters’ route. Follow local police, steward & club guidance on the day.

That’s funny. I remember a few years ago when Liverpool was on track to win the league the rival fans wanted City to win “to save football”. Don’t shy away from the fact you supported City during their cheating years & when Liverpool fans called it out most called it “whinging”.

Inger Shah, a Liverpool FC season ticket holder originally from Denmark, was born on this day in 1950. She was 38 years old when she lost her life at Hillsborough in 1989. RIP Inger, 🙏❤️ Never Forgotten, JFT97

Odd this chat about a Red Cartel. It can't be a very effective one given teams in red have won only five of the last 17 Premier League titles. The other 12 have been won by Man City, Chelsea and Leicester. They all play in shades of blue

I wasn't quite sure how I was going to feel watching a City game for the first time since the guilty verdict. But watching that yesterday - the smug smiles to the camera, the away fans waving cash around, the banners, chants. It's just all a hollow sham. The whole Premier League season is. It can still be saved, just. But in truth we all know it's probably going to continue to drag for a few months at least before we get anything close to clarity. So we'll see those scenes again and again this season because they are a great team with great players who are going to keep winning. It's just going to make such a mockery of this season. Every goal, every celebration, every glance at the league table, you just ask yourself the same questions. What does it mean? What's the point of this all? What's the point of spending our money to watch? Of course we will still do it and come kick-off of most games. (when City aren't playing in them), we'll probably forget about it and get caught up in what we're watching. But then the full-time whistle will go and it will start all over again. So many seasons/moments have been lost for millions of fans around the world already because of what they've done and this season is going to be no different. Such a shame.

How long is the stench of the “sham” going to corrode the meaning, worth, and very essence of the Premier League? Listening to commentary about Manchester City’s players matching the defiance of their ownership and triumphing in adversity. Listening to fans chorusing the names of the men running the club, wearing masks or displaying banners of their faces and jibing: “We’re Man City, we’ll cheat when we want.” Victory being framed as “a lovely moment,” a show of togetherness as though some grave injustice has been imposed on City, rather than their hierarchy being found by an independent commission to have orchestrated financial doping on an industrial scale. Their opponents and the rest of us wondering if any of this actually matters now and how much of it ever did? There can be no business as usual pretence. We need a full stop to the absurdity.
